Chapter 119

While Ladon activated the formation Grendel wasn't idle either. He began to concentrate almost all of his magical power into his mouth. And the next moment, he released a dragon's roar toward Roxanne.

Although he didn't like this girl, he still felt it necessary to honor her since she managed to fight with him head-on. So as a sign of respect, he attacked with his full power.

Facing the joint attacks of these two evil dragons Roxanne was very calm. Although this formation is very interesting it's nothing she can't break.

'Well since he did all of this I should at least reward these two a little. ' Roxanne thought as she released the hold of one of her swords. The sword due to the effect of gravity touched the ground and was embedded into the formation.

And in just mere seconds the whole formation began to crumble as the sword began to devour the magic power. With her restraints released Roxanne used the other sword and slashed down at the incoming fire.

The mighty dragon's roar was slashed vertically without any resistance and disappeared in seconds.

"Now since you have already made your move I will make mine, " Roxanne said as she entered into a stance. The air around her began to distort as her golden eyes looked at the two evil dragons with a predatory gaze.

Feeling the danger Ladon and Grendel felt that they were in front of their natural predator. So without any hesitation, both of them turned around and began to run away. It was a natural reaction one would have when facing one on top of the food chain.

They could only run away and pray for their lives. The previous battle showed them how much of a power gap there is. So instead of trying to protect their stupid pride they ran like their lives depended on it.

" Dragon slaying secret art: Acnologia " Roxanne muttered as the world lost its color. Time seems to have slowed down as everything began to move in slow motion. In this state, Roxanne took one step and the ground was cracked.

And no one saw her taking another step as in the next second she was behind the evil dragons. She began to slowly put two swords back into their sheaths as the world finaly began to notice her actions.

Time and color began to return and everyone saw what really happened. The ground was cracked and destroyed while some space cracks would appear every so often. The sky which was filled with dark clouds a minute ago seemed to be very clear without a cloud in sight.

As for the two evil dragons, they didn't have time to wonder what happened as their heads fell down their bodies in the next second. But the sounds of their heads falling were muffled due to very satisfying crack sounds being heard. The dragons were like statues that were slowly breaking down.

Roxanne just finished putting her swords into their sheaths. And without even looking back she started walking back towards the place where Loki and the others are. She could feel that damn hammer coming near.

~ In the conference Room ~

"Holy shit " screamed Serafall as she stood up in shock. Others had the same reaction as Serafall as they looked at the screen where Roxanne was in shock. They underestimated how strong she was.

Previously when Azrael said that her daughter didn't need any help most of them thought that her confidence came from the two swords Roxanne wielding. But now they finaly understood the truth.

Although Roxanne's weapons are undoubtedly very special as they have the special properties of dragon slaying, and magic devouring they aren't that strong if one manages to snatch or throw the weapons away from her.

As they say a weapons full ability is only shown when a capable weilder is weilding it. And in this case, Roxanne is the perfect wielder.

Not only did display elegant swordsmanship she even managed to get out of that trap without any problem. And finaly she managed to slay two evil dragons with ease with that final move.

" What the hell are those swords " Serafall asked as she looked at Azrael and Azazel.

"Oh, something my daughter made during her free time. "Azrael commented as this was not a big deal. Well of course this isn't a big deal as compared to what her daughter called the 5 Pokemon these two swords are just a level lower.

Serafall looked at Azrael like she just heard the most absurd thing in the whole world. Well, she couldn't be blamed as no one would think that such an absurd sword would be made by a young girl instead of a well-known craftsman.

" That's impressive "That's all Serafall could say as she saw that Azrael didn't seem to be lying.

She then looked at Sirzechs with a worried gaze but she found him and Ajuka staring at the screen with a very intense look. Before she could call to him, he turned to Ajuka and asked, "What do you think, is she already one "

" I can't really tell as she didn't use the process on herself. But what she did at the end undoubtedly brought out the concept embedded in the sword into reality. " Ajuka said as he narrowed his eyes as he replayed the last move Roxanne made.

" if she managed to do that with a weapon maybe she can do it with her own body too, " Sirzechs asked.

"Although it is possible in theory I really can't be sure. I don't have enough data about her " Ajuka said with a helpless smile. This was the first time he had ever been helpless when analyzing a person.

" I see, " Sirzechs said with a sigh. He had a very complicated expression. Although he wasn't greedy for power but he felt a little threatened when Roxanne is showing all her power. Having this much talent while being a Lucifer isn't really a good thing for him.

He shook his head as he tried to stop those unnecessary thoughts. He has never been a power-hungry person. But it seems those years of being in power may have corrupted him a little.

And what's more, he didn't someone like Roxanne would care about the underworld when she can command Grigori freely. After all there you don't have any competition at all.

Poor Sirzechs had no idea that Roxanne had no interest in either ruling any faction. She already had her hands tied with running the shadow garden and is not looking for more responsibilities anytime soon.

After all who wants to bind themself willingly to mountains of paperwork for a position that they would rarely use for any personal gain. With the paperwork alone they would have to stay at their offices for a long time.

Of course, unless you are a workaholic or a really shitty person who thinks of escaping from all of his responsibilities. And even if you were the latter you wouldn't be able to hold that position for long as someone else might kill him for it or his whole faction would crumble in a matter of time due to his irresponsibilities.

As they say, there is no free lunch in this world. Everything comes at a price.
