Chapter 96
Liviana's POV
When we reached the castle, we found the guards sleeping soundly while on duty. Dominique is waiting for us outside, leaning on the wall. "What happened to the guards, Dom?" I asked her as we walked inside the castle.
"I cast a spell to put them on deep slumber." She answered. We entered the castle with caution, making sure that no guards, pack warriors, or even the princes will hold us up.
We were walking in the hallway when a few of the guards attacked us. Dominique used his magic to put them also in slumber. Every hallway we took, there were always guards or pack warriors who attacked us. Dominique cast the same spell to prevent us from fighting them back.
"They are persistent, aren't they?" Dominique commented after she cast a spell on the guards.
"They know that we are going to target their King and Queen." I said as we continue our way going to the majesties' chamber.
