Chapter 13

Princess Alesa had already woken.up and was observing her surrounding. "Where am I ?," She asked herself, as she sat up on the bed, just then the Royal physician came in.

"You are in the Palace my Princess" The Royal physician answered her question, walking up to her with his assistant and two other palace maids following behind him. He had called her princess to see her reaction just now, to know if she had lied about been the Princess of Acan to the Prince, but her temperament was calm.

Princess Alesa stared ahead of the man observing he went to a table and was mixing something while the assistant followed him but stared at her and the two maids head were bent low, she wandered why the palace felt strange and why are the maids dressed differently, obviously she can not be in Jalin, her blood boiled at the thought of her being in Jalin Kingdom and just then the tables shook and some glasses broken.

"What was that!" The Royal physician assistant questioned immediately, and the Royal physician turned to look at Alesa as she already stood up and was glaring at them.

"You need to calm down my princess" The Royal physician said calmly trying to walk forward to the princess to calm her down, but she took two steps backwards, "Don't come near me!" She yelled and just the, root came out of the ground and seize the Royal physician legs, the other two maids jaw dropped and the Royal physician assistant stared in horror. "She's a witch!" The Royal physician assistant screamed but the Royal physician immediately scolded him as he saw Princess Alesa stared in shock.

"Shut up your mouth Lucas!" The Royal physician warned his assistant, "Don't let the news get out of these wall, including you two!" He said turning his head to look at the other two maids, "Quickly lock the door, before anyone will comes in here." The Royal physician gestured for the maids to go lock up the room door, but Princess Alesa immediately screamed "Don't move!". and the two maids leg seize

"What's going on, who are you people and where am i?" Princess Alesa questioned them stammering as her voice was shaken due to fear, "What's going on, and .. what happened to your legs?" She asked again, pointing to the Royal physician leg that was held by some strange root.

"You need to cam down princess, and you are truly in the Palace.. " The Royal physician replied, while his assistant and maid looked frightened.

"Which Palace?.. " Prince Alesa staggered, "Obviously our maids in Acan don't dress like this!" Princess Alesa rebuked , pointing at the maids, "Tell me am not in Jalin, what's happening here, where am I?" She ask as she moved back again and mistaken hit the table behind her, and it fell. She frightened and everything in the room shook.

"Princess you seriously need to calm down, as magic isn't allowed here, if the Queen finds out you are using magic you will be doomed." The Royal physician quickly said, as he tried to calm her down, before she scattered the whole room that was neat before

"Magic?.. Whose using magic?" Princess Alesa asked as she stared in horror at the Royal physician now understanding what his saying, "Did I do these?" she asked pointing to the sudden root that had come out from the ground and held the Royal physician and his assistant legs, "Yes!" The Royal physician and his assistant correspondedly answered and she stiffened.

"Huh" Princess Alesa calmed and immediately the root disappeared from their legs, freeing them, "Am I a witch?" she asked them.

"You need to calm down princess," The Royal physician said as he tried to move closer to her again, she screamed "Don't you come near me!"

And suddenly another root stronger than the previous one came out and held only the Royal physician legs, seizing him up tight to his waist.

"First tell me who are you people, because the maids I have in Acan don't dress like these, where am I, because these room don't look familiar" Princess Alesa spoked as she turned shakenly to look around the chamber.

"Yes you are right Princess, you are in Kande Kingdom, Crown Prince Ali brought you here with him," The Royal physician manage to say as the root stem, was hurting him really bad. And just hearing what he said, Princess Alesa immediately calmed, making all the strong root that had came out from the ground seizing the physician legs before return back to the ground.

Princess Alesa stared at the ground and where the root had disappeared too, and she nervously look up to meet the gaze of the people standing in front of her, she stammered "The Prince, yes I remembered him, what happened to the prince, Prince Ali right?" She looked up at the Royal physician waiting for him to answer.

"You need to calm down my princess, he had brought you here, and I have been treating you since three days now, you have just woken up, but the prince hasn't waken up after he fainted in the palace" The Royal physician explained, just then Princess's Alesa screamed, "No!" and their ears almost went deaf because of the shrill cry.

The Queen heard the shrill sound of someone scream and her inner ears scratched hurtfully, "What was that!" She panicked as she asked her maids whom stood beside and serve her what she was using to clean up the prince's body and taking care of him. Her maids look in horror and her little daughter Princess Ella ask, "Mom what was that sound.?" As the little girl vibrated hearing the shrilling sound that was coming from somewhere closer around to the Castle they were inside.

"I don't know Ella" Queen Mahama replied, looking worriedly, She called "Guards!".

Quickly two palace guards rushed into the Prince's chamber as they were previously standing outside the Prince's door.

"What was that sound?" Queen Mahama questioned, and the first guard replied "I don't know your highness," Bowing his head low as he responded.

"Mom, what if it's the witch's cry, I heard from my teacher whom is teaching me history that the witches from Jalin, especially their princess, whenever they cry or scream or breakdown in tears their voice can collapse a building" Little Princess Ella said nervously, and Queen Mahama frowned..

Turning to look back at the guards, Queen Mahama said, "Quickly find out what made that sound and alert the outside guards to also lock up the main entrance gate, don't you dare allow anyone, or... " Pausing a little, Queen Mahama said, "Don't you dare allow any witch into this Palace, guard the front doors now leave." Queen Mahama commanded and the guards immediately bowed their head, turned and left to do the Queen's orders.

"Mom, have you seen a witch before?" Little Princess Ella asked curiously, "No!" Queen Mahama respond with a frown as she stared at her son Crown prince Ali, whom seem to be knotting his brow now while his still asleep, the shrill sound had also Peirce his ear drum, and shook him a bit slightly to want to wake, but he was still weak and drained, and a single tears dropped from the corner of his eyes.

Queen Mahama on noticing the little tear drop from her son's eyes rushed to his side, shaking him to wake up, "Quickly call the physician, go and call the Royal physician!" Queen Mahama ordered her maids and the quickly drop the bowel of water they where holding before and rushed out to go look for the Royal physician.

"Mom what's it?" Little Princess Ella asked as she came to her mother side and stared at Crown Prince Ali whom laid on top of the bed looking pale, she sob, "Mom, is Uncle Ali going to be fine?."

Queen Mahama turned and look at her little daughter, she only has two children, Ali and Ella , she smiled at her daughter shaking her head, "Yes.. Yes his going to be fine" Wiping away her daughter tears, she said "You don't have to worry about him, Uncle Ali is a strong man."

"Okay" Little Princess Ella replied, as she stared at her big brother whom was still sleeping. She has always heard her brother was a strong man and she hoped his really strong as they claimed, she sat down on the chair and waited for the Royal physician to return, while she played with her wooden carved doll.
