Chapter Four "The Palace"

I sat there in the car looking at the main gate with amusement. After a few mintues of waiting it finally opened and we slowly drove passed. The Castle is so extravagant and extraordinary to look at. It takes my breath away everytime I come to visit. At the front it is filled with beautiful flower plants I can only assume are for the most rich and powerful beings . The flowers looks so beautiful in the shadow of night with their bright colors. From the moment you pass by them your nostril is invaded with their sweet fragrance. I was always very fond of nature, nature tend to make me have this feelings that I can't find the right words to describe how it feels. I don't think it can be described but only felt and experienced for oneself. Afterwards; we drove in a circle around a beautiful fountain that has two angel holding jars in each hand and water is gently been poured out while the center; the water meets  about 6 feet into the air. While the color light of blue shines brightly with every movement the water makes. It is so captivating to look at especially in the night.

       The car finally came to a stop. Suddenly a young gentleman came to my side and quickly opened the car door. He was dressed in a black suit and a shiny black shoes. His hair was slightly brown but looked more of black in the night. He had blue eyes where is

hair slightly fall below his brows making him look very handsome.

   "Good evening my lord " he greeted respectfully with a slight bow stretching his hands out for mine.

    I was a little surprised of this treatment. But later realize that my grandfather was no ordinary man, but the advisor of the king and is highly respected and so should his family. So I quickly let that thought go to the back of my brain and gently place my hands in the gentleman's hands. I turned to face my family and Angel to see that they were also being confronted the same way. Suddenly another man dressed in the same attire with the young man at my side but much older came to greet us.

   "Good evening your grace" he said with a bow.

    "Good evening Charles" grandpa said with a huge smile on his face.

   "Please follow me this way,for the royal family is awaiting your presence" he said and gestured to the direction.

  My grandfather nodded and grabbed my grandmother's hands and we ascended to our destination. In the palace it was beautiful as always. It had high walls with miraculous paints of ancients rulers and artifacts of their times. With many vase and objects that gaves you the feelings of being in a majestic place . The walls were painted in gold and silver which made it look more mesmerizing. I am sure I can only imagine it to be a place in a fairytale book.

     " Isn't this beautiful?"I turned to asked the guard standing next to me.

He look confused, but it quickly vanished " It is I would stop here to wonder a few times just take in the sight of paradise" he responded with a huge smile upon his face while he bows .

I have to admit he is very handsome when he smiles and his well clean and white teeth shows.

      " Please stop treating me like I'm a royal member, I'm just a normal person like you; no need to be bowing and all of that stuff." I said

He was much more confused now after the words was process in his mind and look at me as if I were mad. I smile and place my hands upon his shoulder.

     "It is fine no need to be confused" I reassured him.

    " But you are important and deserves to me treated like a royal member since your lord Henry's  grandson." He quickly responded.

     " As much as I am indeed you don't need to be so formal with me." I said while smiling

" As you desire ,um what should I call you then?". He asked searching my face for an answer.

  " Call me by my name Navin"  I said.

   " I will do just as wish Navin, but I will not do so in front of anyone who is higher than myself for I can get into trouble for acknowledging you by your name." He said seriously

I smiled.

  "And what is your name?" I asked

  "I am Jai William" he said smiling

" Well it is a pleasure to meet you Jai" I said.

" May I ask why are treating me like I'm equal as you I do not understand" he asked with confusion and curiosity written on his face.

" It is simply I'm just a normal person I'm not rich nor am I famous I'm just me."

"Okay I see ,well in that case it is an honor to meet you as well Navin and I hope that from now on you and I can be friends and please do not hesitate to seek my assistance at anytime as long as your here." Jai said.

" Thank you Jai and I will be sure to ask if I do need your assistance" I said with a slight smile.

We talked some more and got to know each other a little more and I found out that we had a lot in common and he was also a part of the LGBTQ community and I was more than proud to have another friend to understand.

We then decided that it will be rude to keep the royal family waiting upon my arrival. I am pretty sure my family was already there so I must not keep them waiting and have them  think I was lost.

    " I think I should get going" I said while turning to Jai at my side to escort me.

We walked on the a red carpet that made my feet in my shoes felt as though  I was walking upon the clouds. After a few turns we arrived at a huge golden door that had two other guards at each side. Upon our arrival they bow and greeted us. Soon after they opened the door and behind was another world.
