Sister heart to heart

'No, that's not my problem. My problem is you Isabella you are the problem' she says getting up from her chair, tired of always being the bad one in the family while no one ever says anything about Isabella.

'Now, now girls that's enough. When we are at the table we respect each other. Savannah, say sorry to your sister' the father says.

'But that's so unfair, how come.. .'.

'Did I stutter? Apologize to your sister right this instant' the father commands his voice louder than it was before. 'I am sorry Savannah' she says dragging her words. 'That's better' he comments.

This was what she didn't like all the time she was the one who had to do the apologizing , even if her sister was the one who was in the wrong. The only thing she can do right about now is to sit down and eat the rest of her food in silence.

Once they are done she gets up and leaves the room, leaving them to talk about the wedding and all. 'Are you staying, we thought you could help also' Price Isaac says to her before she leaves. 'I have to go, I have to do something' she says quickly leaving the room for good. Once she is outside she feels like she can final breath properly. On her way to her room two maids bow their heads at her to show respect and she acknowledges them with a kind smile.

When she reaches her chamber she locks the door and falls on her bed, she cries . Why did it always have to be her? The one getting the bitter end of the sick and now to make it worse she was leaving home tomorrow. She didn't want to, she wanted to stay and find her own husband, she was sure that if she stayed longer she would find the perfect man.

She is startled when she hears a knock on the door. 'Go away' she commands. 'It's me' the voice says and she recognizes her mother from the other side of the door.

Wiping the tears from her eyes, she irons out her dress and walks to the door. Opening the door for her mother to come in and going back to sit down on her bed.

The mother enters ad closes the door softly. 'Are you okay' she asks sitting down next to her

I know that you think that me and your father don't love you but that couldn't be furthest from the truth. We love you so much, if only you know. It's not like we want to ship you off, this is hard on us too'. The mother says tearing up as well, she tries to wipe her tears away as she takes a hold of her daughter's hand.

'So don't think that for one moment we want to abandon you, it's just that sometimes when you are born royal , you have to do some things and sometimes you might not necessarily like or want to do them but you have to'.

'But mother, I don't want to go. I want to stay here with you and father I want to find myself a handsome prince to marry like Isabella , why can't I have that?' she whines wiping tears of her now swollen and red face. 'I promise you that it won't be as bad as you think it will be , that is how I married your father and it turned out great for me' she assures her.

'But mother its totally different , he has a reputation. He is crazy and he is just not husband material. I don't think I'll be able to do it. I've heard stories of him doing things to people . Killing innocent lives at the expense of his entertainment' she tries to plead her case with her mother.

' I know that it is hard and that it seems like right now all hope is lost but it is the only way out of this . If you don't get married to him, things will escalate, we won't have peace in our country. It's the only way out.

....

The next morning

Savannah sits on her vanity brushing her hair down as she sings in front of the mirror admiring her face. She never really was confident but she had to trying to look like she was. She was going to do this and it was going to be great. All she had to do was go in there and take charge, not look weak. She waits for the servants to come to her room, so they can help her get ready. She had an appointment for noon, she had to be ready by then. The carriage was going to take her to her new life, this was it. 'I can do this' she encouraged herself in the mirror.

A knock on the door startled her a she stands up, to go and check who it is. She is surprised to see her sister on the other side of the door. Her hands folded on her chest as she looks at her with an emotionless face making it hard for her to decipher what she is thinking.

'Are you ready' she says surprising both of them. 'Can one ever really be ready?' she asks letting the question linger in the air. 'Regardless of how we haven't been close to each other I am going to miss having you around. I am also going to miss hearing your voice complain about anything and everything you can get your hands on'.

'I just wanted to wish you good luck with your marriage and I hope that you are happy' she continues. 'I can't wait to get married so I imagine you must be feeling nervous too'.

'And there you go, you almost had it Bella, but you had to ruin it didn't you. You had to include yourself in it. I don't even know why I bother with you every time I think you are going to go back to being my sister you disappoint me all the time. All you had to do was keep yourself out of it but you couldn't even last a second could you?'.

'GET OUT' the girl screams tears in her eyes. 'But Savannah come on…'. She tries.

'Didn't you hear me, I said get out of here' she repeats hoping that it will make her feel better.

'You did this all by yourself, you pushed me away Savannah. I don't know why you can't see that'. Those are the last words her sister says to her before she leaves.

Thanks for reading once again, love you all
