26: New Prey to be Wary About

"Yes, my lady. There's a man that has been eyeing the hotel ever since you left." he said while Sabrina started checking the files a little.

"It was the usual issue even to our other hotels in the city." Sabrina said while ICE handed the manager a cup of calming tea.

"But this one has a red dot on his back. He's a bad vibe, my lady and I think he will approach you since he's been dropping by here while asking for your name." he pressed and his voice sounded worried and frightened about a certain person that ICE already had a hunch who could it be.

"You don't like this man in particular?" Sabrina asked.

"Yes, milady, and here's the footage that we keep when I started to get suspicious calls from the reception and the security department." he answered and handed a USB on the table above the files he gave.

"Is everything that I need to know in these files and footage?" Sabrina asked as she closed one file that she was scanning.

"Yes, my lady." he nodded as he finished his tea.

"Okay, ICE, show him the way, and don't worry, we're here to handle this matter and make sure to do what you usually do. Don't alarm our customers or even the other employees. Report it directly to me or to my personal bodyguard here whatever you may find odd around the hotel." Sabrina nodded and waved her hand to dismiss him.

"I will, my lady. Thank you for letting me talk to you about this matter and please, excuse me." Mr. Douglass thanked her before excusing himself in their penthouse.

Once Mr. Douglass left them alone in the penthouse again, Sabrina read the files he gave while ICE watched the footage. They were both busy and quiet while they divided the task around the hotel. Sabrina was starting to make some notes while ICE making a few notification calls.

"Update on your part." Sabrina asked while her eyes were still glued on the file she was checking and noting down.

"Marlon Marlow, the same man that Lexie warned me about…" ICE trailed off a little while checking it through the notification that she received from her previous call earlier. She finally got the information about the man Mr. Douglass has been wary about.

"About what?" Sabrina wondered but still not looking at her.

"Not entirely sure but it could be about dirty money laundering or something since the police were also looking for him." ICE answered in her serious voice before showing the records that her AI system prepared for her.

"If that's the case why not arrest him?" Sabrina take a look over it and scanned the man's detail before asking.

"It was not that easy especially if the person always had his alibi that covering up his mess or if got arrested, he got somebody to bail him out." ICE briefly explained and Sabrina nodded in understanding before handing ICE's tablet back to her.

"Then find his connection. Every connection whether they were dirty or not." Sabrina firmly commanded and ICE worried about what she heard.

"Are you sure going that deep?" ICE worriedly wondered and Sabrina looked at her seriously.

"I know you won't let danger get into me." She smiled with full trust in ICE's ability on protecting her. ICE smirked.

"I know because I am the danger itself." ICE leaned and kissed Sabrina's lips. They were both smiling and kissed for one more time.

"And I am the master of it. So, go and check but don't show your real face. It might reflect on our legal business." Sabrina pushed her slightly before things got heated up while they were in the middle of their work.

"I will." ICE winked at her before she went back to her seat and went back to doing her job.

Silence once again wrapped around the living space of their penthouse when ICE put the tablet back on the table before pulling out her phone beside it. She went to the kitchen to get some snacks for their busy task.

"Coffee and macaroons." ICE handed the freshly brewed coffee and snack to her busy lady.

"Oh, thanks. Just put it there." Sabrina responded after a glance and then went back to her work.

They were both busy when the tablet and ICE's cell phone suddenly began blinking as an indication that a notification has been received. ICE checked it and activate her AI system for faster work.

"AI EM, activate." ICE activated her AI system.

'Greetings, my lady what can I do for you?'

"Kindly check every legal and illegal transaction of Mr. Marlon Marlow. Sent it to my email as soon as you got information about him." ICE firmly commanded her AI system while checking her cell phone.

'Understood my lady.'

Head Chief P: Tri-Flower, once you receive this, hope you will help me about capturing the biggest fish in the money laundering world. I already sent his previous case that he bailed out. That's all I could give you since we're limited in what we could only share with you.

Tri-Flower: Noted.

ICE quickly check her email that she received from the police and it was about the same man that they were gathering information for. She found herself smirking sinisterly and Sabrina suddenly shivered before glancing at her lover's side.

"She found something interesting." Sabrina thought to herself while shaking her head and went back to working again.

As for ICE, she began reading the email and even sending a copy to her AI system. It will be easier for her AI system where to start looking for its prey. It was only a few minutes when ICE's tablet to received a notification again.

"Lilium Familia was not that bad mafia." ICE commented since she already met some members of that said mafia and she could tell they were not bad like the others.

'Yes, but they were his buyers with firearms.'

"That's understandable just for the safety of their family. How about the others?" ICE understood why they need firearms before she asked about the mafia that was mentioned.

'They were having the same reason but the Tri-Star Gang was sometimes exchanging drugs with him. He was either using it for himself or selling it.'

"He wanted to be in one of the biggest cartels, is that what he was aiming for?" she wondered if he really want to be involved in a syndicate.

'Money and power.'

"I see keep that information and keep looking for more connections." she agreed to that idea and wanted to be posted to whatever transaction he was doing.

'Understood, Lady ICE.'

"Activate Harv." When she was done commanding her AI informational system, ICE activated her AI route navigation system.

'Yes, Lady ICE, what can I be service of you?'

"I need Marlon Marlow's whereabouts, and make sure to track his doing." ICE simply commanded.

'Yes, my lady.'

When she was done, ICE didn't notice that Sabrina was already done on her part. She was wondering where her lady went when she heard some noises in the kitchen and there was a delicious aromatic scent coming from it.

"You cook?" ICE asked as she wrapped her arms around her waist while Sabrina was cooking.

"Just a simple dish that I wanna try for you." Sabrina answered.

"What is it called then since it smells delicious?" ICE wondered what she was cooking for her.

"Creamy adobo with pineapple chunks. I just want to try it out." Sabrina answered and ICE's tummy suddenly crumbled which made them chuckle.

"Stay there for a minute, it will be done in a few." Sabrina pointed to the island countertop so ICE could wait there patiently. ICE nodded and kissed Sabrina's cheek before heading to the stool at the island counter table.

ICE pulled out her phone again and played something for their background since she was liking the view of her woman cooking in their kitchen. She really looked at her with so much affection and love but there was also worry about something that she was still not sharing with her yet.

The chosen music that she was playing for their background was called Think of Me from the soundtrack of The Phantom of the Opera by Andrew Lloyd Webber. Hearing the song's lyrics, Sabrina glanced at her lover who just smiled lovingly at her.

"Why choose that song?" Sabrina wondered while glancing back and forth to the food that she was cooking for ICE.

"Like it?" ICE winked at her and Sabrina blushed instantly. She cannot hide it from ICE.

"Yeah…but why all of a sudden?" Sabrina answered and yet, still wondered why to play that song among the other song she had in her playlist.

"Just feel it. Promise me you'll think of me, Sabrina?" ICE just shrugged her shoulders but she asked her something tickled in a different way. Sabrina went to her and put her arms around her neck.

"Always, my love." Sabrina responded before placing a very deep and passionate kiss on ICE's lips. It was her urge to give that kiss as if they were going to be parted and yet, praying to the highest heaven not let it happen. Not to separate them anymore.
