"I'll remember that.."

As Kabuki went up a mountain, he could not face the agony of the pain that he feels as he walked. Although he was walking soundlessly, he would flinch from time to time. The problem was not his sight nor was it his magic, it was because of a wound on his leg that a wild hog had caused, Kabuki had already expected it to hurt but never this long, he thought at first that the wound would automatically heal on his command and payed no attention to it but as he walked more and more into the depths of this mountain, the pain would worsen quite a bit. As the pain began to worsen even more Kabuki could not take it anymore, as he faced the fact that he lost quite a lot of blood. His vision began to blur, he closed his eyes in hopes that this would make him feel better. He glanced at his leg and struggled to breathe, but still he managed to cast a healing spell. As he closed his eyes and opened them again he felt much better than before the time he went up the mountain.

He continued walking Until he arrived near a large boulder, Kabuki planned on waiting at this very place until daylight and finally finish the exam. That was his plan but after some time at the other side of the Boulder, Kabuki heard two people conversing, Kabuki thought 'so there are also people who are after this mountain, not just me.. If I can get a score from one of them or maybe the both of their scores then that would be great but I doubt that it would be possible' Kabuki sat down and leaned onto the rock as he took a quick rest from all the walking, he then thought 'my first opponent was a girl, next was a hog which was unbelievably too strong and this time.. I just had to come across two people? This exam is technically torture...' As Kabuki listened to what the both of them were conversing about, he was also healing the last bit of the wounds his leg had. Although he was listening, not a single word could be heard, all Kabuki could hear was someone walking and echoes of muffled voices coming from a cave.

'So there's a cave at the other side of this Boulder...' Kabuki thought. After a short while Kabuki had already healed the last bit of wounds on his leg and finally stood up to try and face the both of them slowly but surely. As he slowly walked towards the cave he accidentally stepped on a tree branch and made a sound. Immediately the voices in the cave silenced, fortunately for Kabuki the person who went out to look at what or who it was, looked at the other direction first. Kabuki immediately gripped this person on the neck and thought 'crap.. this is it!' as he gripped this person's neck he quickly tried to find where this person's score was 'huh..?' Kabuki thought, as he realized that one important thing.. the teachers never gave them a number, what were they supposed to get?.

"K-Kabuki...? what are you...?" After Kaho said this, Kabuki instantly froze his grip and turned around. He thought 'what the-!?.. what is this idiot doing here??.. ah crap!'.

Kabuki shockingly said in a loud voice "what do you mean? I thought you were captured by him?" He said as he looked around, then suddenly, Kabuki thought that thunder had struck his whole world, 'Huh..? This person seems.. familiar.. Oh Crap..' he thought as he looked at this person and said as he let go of his grip "Wait Aren't you-!?.. Rin..?" As he noticed that this person is indeed Rin, His gaze immediately landed on his hair, he thought 'his hair is cut.. a spiritual's hair can heal even the most gruesome wounds and cure the most deadliest poisons.. why would he-?' As Kabuki's face showed mostly all the emotions that he felt, he said in a small voice "but your hair...why is it..?" But before he could fully ask why, he thought 'wait was any of the both of them injured?' he looked at Kaho and as expected he was indeed holding half of Rin's hair, Kabuki's shock deepened even more as he looked back at Rin.

As Kaho was about to say something, Rin looked at the both of them and shook his head signifying for them to quiet down and relax for a bit. At this moment Kabuki realized that Rin was indeed looking horrible, his looks were fine but Kabuki could guess that his state was not, especially because of how he gripped his neck.

A while of silence had passed and the three of them finally relaxed.

Kabuki sighed and said "besides all the things that had happened to the three of us, there is one obvious thing that I wanted to know since earlier..." As Kabuki said this both Rin and Kaho looked at him, then he continued "the teachers never gave us a number... But what does it mean?"

Rin replied "I've noticed that as well... At the time Kaho passed out I couldn't find a single number on his neck, back or wrist.."

Kaho hearing this he immediately looked at Rin and said "see! You did try to steal my score!" Immediately Rin responded "but you didn't have a score" As he stared at back Kaho.

"Well that happened to me too, my first encounter was a fire user but when I finally caught them, they said the teachers never gave them a number" Kabuki said, and continued "and there was another thing.. this hog started attacking me on my way to this mountain, I don't know why but it was strangely very strong, as if something had gave it magic"

Kaho and Rin gave a shocked look at each other and looked back at Kabuki before Kaho said "that.. we came across that same incident as well but they were all wolves and they were also strangely strong.. but it wasn't as if we didn't know it already, there were also empowered leeches and if my guess is correct, the wolves and the hog that attacked you were also empowered"

Kabuki: "I guess that's why.. well for now let's just stay in this cave until dawn comes and hope someone is okay"

"huh?.. who is that your talking about though?" Rin said as he tilted his head.

"Oh Right... Kydo's out there somewhere, he didn't come with you?" Kaho said.

Kabuki: "ah apparently, that idiot slept in class at the time Ms. Hikari announced that there was an extra exam"

Kaho: "I see.. Wasn't he late this morning as well?"

Kabuki: "that's one of the reasons he slept in class"

As the both of them were conversing Rin was at the side listening to them, he thought 'huh.. so that student's name is Kydo, I'll remember that' as his eyes started to close and as he started to doze off.

Kabuki and Kaho noticing that he fell asleep, looked at him, Kabuki said "he looks peaceful.."

"Face it, you also think he looks pretty, Don't you?" Kaho said teasingly as he grinned.

"Indeed he is.. but I think someone among our group has already fallen for him, I never said I knew of it but I think it will work out anytime sooner" Kabuki smiled as he looked at him and looked towards the moon.
