THE SECOND ENCOUNTER

The next day I got a call from my Dad about the company, new people are registering to become part of our industry. " OK I'll be there. I'm on my way" I replied.

Got dressed in my corporate outfit , looking handsome as always. I guess since I'm going to work today, I called leroy to come drive me. I called him but no response. why is this boy so abnormal?

"leroy.. i know you are not deaf neither do you have hearing loss. so come out here or you're FIRED!!." I said and he comes out shaking. "Get into the fucking car and drive me to work" I threatened "sorry monsieur" he begs. I like it when they beg.

As well enter the company, I see a queue of people who aspire to work for me. I enter inside and see my dad waiting. "Hey my boy, good to see you. Are you excited to see new faces?" not really. "my dad smiled. " Maybe you can find a girl you want from here, My boy" he said smiling. " I'm here to work not to look for women" I said and pushed him away as i went to my office to 'welcome' them.

A knock on the door came, my PA comes in. "welcome back jacey . looking good as always." She teases. " thanks Nikki. You look stunning yourself" I said and she blushed. "Anyway here are forms filled up by the aspirants of the company for today" she drops it on the desk. "thanks darling" I said and she left.

After a long day of receiving candidates, we had one more before it's over. I was filling up some forms when she came in, the same woman I met in the diner the other day. I looked at her from head to toe.

"You may sit down now, Miss" I said and she did.

"I am Shalom Grey and I need a job here" she said being a bit too forward. From my perspective, she looked okay. Sitting posture. Okay. Kindness. Okay. Fashion sense. Okay. Makeup. Reasonable amount. Beauty. 8/10 .

" Thanks ms grey. Be back here by 10am to find out if you are in or not. You may leave now" she nodded, then left.

It was a tough day but its over now..

The next day.

It was time to announce the new members of the company and I was given honors to announce the results. SO HERE WE GO!!

"If your name was called, just know you are now part of this establishment.. Karen Britney, Stephanie Karl, Mark steward, Carl Madison, Joe balscher, Meaghan Luna, Grace Kelly, Melvin Harrison and Shalom Grey.." I announced and it was followed with a hug applause. I looked over to Shalom and she looked overjoyed. Our eyes met and she mouthed a 'thank you' to me and I nodded, walking away.
