The Long Memory and Upgrade

It's been three days since we arrived here in Vacuo and in these days me and Leon had been grinding endlessly , from day to night since he didn't need to rest with the potions and after a bit we got bored from using just our hands and started using our weapons and I noticed that his gauntlets looked really old and weren't up with the times since he literally had to shoot Dust crystals with his own strength by swinging his arm in the direction he wanted to shoot , that was one of the reasons he his body was soo strong too the other reasons was that he used to constantly be in fights since his teens so his body just adapted and he just started working out too.

As we were finishing the Elemental Giants dungeon for the 10th time this day I said to him while chuckling "You really need to get your weapons upgraded Leon , like this you gonna die early" and he looked at my weapon , right now I was using the kamas Maria Calavera had in the show and I had made a blueprint for them a bit back since they were pretty easy to craft and had been using them in these runs we did and I had to admit , Life and Death were very fun to use has they were very versatile. Honestly I liked double daggers in my past life , thus the reason I always played as a rogue or assassin in many games I played and doing all those things I could do in the games in real life felt really great , and the best part was that I didn't even have to worry about losing one of them in battle.

Different form the show I didn't craft them with gravity Dust , I made it with runes that added many more new function my favorite one being the lightsaber like edge that could cut into iron like it was made from butter , I really doubted there was anything in this world they wouldn't be able to cut and another favorite was the teleport rune it had. This one I first made it like in the show with just the function of attracting the other part thus bringing them to the user , but after thinking a bit I decided to not limit myself and directly made it teleport to me when I wished for it. The distance doesn't matter and maybe in magically locked spaces it would somehow be harder to teleport it to me but other than that I could just teleport it to my hand even if it was on the other side of the world.

Another difference that I made was that my kamas where white and black and those weren't just for show , the white one could deal light damage and even heal if I wished for and the black one would inflict darkness damage and decay , if the enemy was weak it could even kill it instantly. I could switch the effect between the daggers and the color would change too , another thing too was that since they were a bother to carry all the time I made them shrinkable so they could be used as a silver necklace that had a x. Leon was really surprised when he saw the magical proprieties of my weapons so he asked me to make him some new gauntlets which I just accepted. So after we got back from the dungeons after making sure Salem was asleep I started working on the gauntlets for Leon.

The gauntlets I made for him I called them Will Gauntlets has they looked like the X-Gloves from Katekyo Hitman but the glass in the middle had a L instead of an X and instead of just simple boosting through the air they had many Dust chambers that could be used with his aura in many ways like shooting them like bullets by punching , covering his fists with them as they wouldn't let the effects hurt him and many more things that Leon would figure out since he had the imagination for it. While I was making his gauntlets I decided to make The Long Memory but now I didn't just make it a walking stick but I also made it a sword or any weapon I wished for since I made in a way that with enough magic I could change it's shape and magic wasn't a problem for me since mine was infinite.

This Long Memory I made still had the function of accumulating kinetic energy and release it but with new runes I created after spending a long time in the [Time Dilatation] instance dungeon it would double the energy when the time to release came but I would have to be careful since if the energy became too much I wouldn't be able to release it all in one hit without damaging the stick 'Meh not that I couldn't rebuilt it if it ever became damaged' and so after that I went to sleep , I could add more runes if I ever saw the need of something new in it's functions. After a good night of rest I got woken up by Salem that greeted me with a smile and a kiss "Did you stay awake last night Love?" and I just sighed and with a chuckle she said "Since you are making new weapons for yourselves , why not make one for me?" and I smiled at that before saying "Well I can probably make anything you wish for in terms of weapons".

And after that she said she would think about it and we went down to have breakfast with Velvet and Leon , but Velvet wasn't there and Leon said she was out monitoring the preparations for the construction of Shade Academy. Yeah since Velvet kept on insisting that we should start building the school while me and Leon were out grinding she and Salem where dealing with the school stuff , I even wanted to help them but Velvet said it was kinda like their girls time and I was surprised that Salem even agreed with her and I thought 'Welp at least she has a friend now' and just like that me and Leon went out for another day of grinding and today we were going to test the new dungeon that was unlocked yesterday [Draconic {Rank 1}] , when I saw this new instance I was a bit surprised at the new rank system since until now the ranks had names.

But that didn't bother me much and before we could get in the dungeon I took out the Will Gauntlets and gave them to Leon and he was really happy when he put them on and I explained it's functions to him and he said to me with a serious look on his face after I finished explaining "Thank you Ozma , I will treasure this masterpiece and I will pass it down my family as a way to honor you" and I just laughed at that and patted him on the shoulder before saying "Just make sure to upgrade them in the future has I don't want them to become outdated , they can even be your family heirloom if you want" and after that I created the dungeon and in this dungeon all monsters where almost the size of giants and the difference was that they were all reptiles , there were many different ones at that.

Some had wings , some had one leg and wings , honestly they were very strange but welp who was I to complain so I just took out my stick and Leon said "Not using you double mini scythes today?" to which I just released a sigh and said to him in an annoyed tone "First they aren't 'mini scythes' , they are kamas. Get that through that thick skull of yours" and he just laughed and just like that we started out killing , and something that surprised Leon was that the stick had turned into a really sharp sword "Where did that sword came from , I didn't even see you take out the sheath or anything" and I just laughed at him and said "Magic my friend" and he just looked at me before saying "Why can't you teach me" and I just said "Well you don't have the potential to use pure magic and can only use the ones from the system" , he just grumbled before we went back to killing.
