"Aaaaaaahhhh!!!"

Andrea and Anna had heard the yell come from upstairs and they wasted no time in rushing up to Sky's room to see what had happened.

Anna had just finished narrating to Andrea how Sky had ended up the way he did and despite her not being sure if Andrea would believe her, she told him exactly what and how everything had occurred leading up to both her and Andrea sitting in the living room.

For someone who was not supposed to know about people who used abilities other than magic, Andrea had taken everything Anna said quite seriously and not once did it seem like Andrea did not believe what Anna was saying.

She was just about to ask him if he actually believed everything she had said when the yell from upstairs interrupted them. If he hadn't there would certainly be some videos people would have uploaded online.

Getting upstairs and hurrying into Sky's room, Andrea saw Sky sitting up on the bed with a blanket covering half of his body. He was moving his hands frantically over his whole body which was covered in sweat. He was so drenched in his own sweat to the extent that his hair was wet and was roughly scattered over his face.

"Sky!" Andrea called out as he rushed to meet him and calm him down. When Andrea touched him, the temperature of his body was extremely high and off the charts. "He's burning up." Andrea said to Anna. "What's happening to him now?"

"I don't know." Anna said and touched Sky, also confirming his high body temperature.

Sky was still yelling out as he moved his hands in a frantic manner.

"Are you in pain?" Andrea asked, worried by how Sky was behaving. "Where does it hurt?"

"EVERYWHERE!!!" Sky cried out.

"His temperature is rising." Anna said as she touched Sky again. "Quickly, prepare an ice bath."

Andrea immediately went into Sky's bathroom and turned on the water so it flowed straight into the bath tub. He rushed to the dining area and the kitchen and got as many bags of ice as he could then emptied them all in the bath tub.

Anna lifted Sky off the bed and took him to the bathroom then kept him down in the bath tub. Sky's frantic movements stopped and he stopped yelling. His temperature also began to drop as his body very clearly relaxed in the ice-cold water.

"We need more ice." Anna said to Andrea who immediately rushed downstairs to get some more bags of ice.

Sky had fallen unconscious again moments after he was put in the ice bath and Andrea was relieved that whatever it was that was happening to him had passed. For now at least.

Jake had built up the energy inside himself and thought it would be better if he used only the purple energy. He could also use and control the white energy but he had not had much experience with it and he decided to stick to what he was certain he could control.

Nine had been in control of Jake's body and since he could not seem to break Jake's neck like he planned, he thought about taking a different approach. No matter what Jake was since he appeared to be anything but human, he still needed a heart that works to keep living and if the heart stopped doing what it was supposed to – pump blood – even Jake could not survive that.

Just like every other organ in a body, the heart also needed a steady supply of blood to function which is what the coronary arteries are for. But if it stopped getting blood, that could lead to a heart attack and we were about to see just how fatal that would be to a person like Jake.

Jake was about to release the energy in his classic explosive form when he felt a pain in his chest and stopped abruptly.

It felt like his chest was being pressed or squeezed by a heavy object and the pain radiated from his chest slight to his neck and back.

He struggled to catch his breath and he tried slowing down his breathing but he still felt like he did not have enough air or oxygen to breathe in.

'What the hell is happening to me?' Jake asked himself as he tried to clutch his chest with his hand but couldn't because Nine was still controlling his blood.

Nine had stopped the blood that was flowing to Jake's heart through the coronary arteries and now Jake's heart was lacking the blood and oxygen it desperately needed.

"He's having a heart attack." Smith said from outside the box.

"How do you know?" Kyle asked.

"The symptoms are all there." Smith replied. "It doesn't make sense for Jake to have a heart attack so the only reasonable explanation is this is also something Nine is doing to him."

Rheya immediately began muttering a spell under her breath and Jake was slowly receiving the oxygen he needed. The pain in his chest lessened and without further ado, Jake immediately released his energy explosively without giving much thought to how he was suddenly able to breath again for those very few seconds.

The purple energy exploded from Jake's core and passed through his body then broke straight through the rectangular crystal box and affected the people who were standing around.

Looking at the explosion Jake had just created, Kyle, Kevin and Smith suddenly realized something.

"Is it just me, or have we seen him do that before?" Kevin asked.
