Chapter 9 - Two New Awakened Skills

As Ronald opened his eyes and came back to the physical world, Ronald heard Hannah knocking his door.

"Ronald, let's eat. The food is ready," Hannah said in a warm voice.

"I'm coming in a bit, Auntie," Ronald said as he took a shirt from his cabinet and started changing his clothes as it was so dirty. It was only now that he noticed it, as his mind was still occupied by what had happened since yesterday.

After several minutes, Ronald came out of his room and made his way to the kitchen, which is also their dining area.

As Ronald reached the kitchen what he first notice is the only table in the kitchen, that was now filled to the brim with all kinds of dishes.

Ronald always wondered how his auntie can cook so fast. He once wanted to look at his auntie while she was cooking to know how she did it, but his uncle forbade him from doing what he was planning and told him that he may die if he went inside the kitchen while his auntie was cooking.

Ronald was confused by what his uncle said but still followed him, but now Ronald couldn't hold his curiosity anymore and asked his auntie.

"Auntie, You're amazing. How can you cook so fast? Can I observe you while you are cooking next time?" Ronald asked Hannah.

"I can't tell you how I did it, because even me myself have no idea how I did it," Hannah answered as she let out an awkward laugh.

"And as for observing me cooking while you are inside the same room, that is absolutely a no. As the room would become very dangerous for anyone who is weaker than me if I am cooking," Hannah said in a serious tone.

"Why is that?" Ronald asked in a confused tone.

'Wasn't it just cooking? how would it be dangerous?' Ronald thought to himself as he waited for Hannah's answer.

"Hmm... Let me guess what you are thinking right now?" Hannah said when she saw Ronald's expression after he asked the question.

"You're thinking that there would be no danger in cooking, right?" Hannah said in certainty, then she continued, "That was only for someone normal who is cooking, but I am not the same. And I do not really know why I am like this, but I still accepted who I am, as I love cooking and eating very much... Enough chitchat... Now, let's dig in," Hannah said with a beautiful smile on her face.

After Ronald heard what Hannah said, he became enlightened about the source of his uncle's warnings at that time.

Ronald easily accepted Hannah's explanation and started eating.

After the two finished eating all the food in the table, Ronald cleaned the table while Luna washed the dishes.
