Epilogue

Homeless Man:

Dragging my cart behind me, I stop at a dumpster. Pushing open the lid, I start to dig in. I push past all the empty containers and wrappers before finally finding it.

"Yes," I cry, smiling as I jump and grab it. Pulling out from the dumpster a box of expired candy bars, I immediately eat one while throwing the box into my cart. "Well, now that I've found dinner, I can go back home."

I smile and sing to myself as I chew and savor the oh-so-ever sweet, sweet taste of chocolate and nuts. It's late into the night when I make my way back home. Parking my cart at the side of my home, I climb into my box and snuggle up with my blanket. Sleep comes quickly, and I feel myself about to drift away when, out of nowhere, I hear a boom.

"Wha the," I shout. I throw my blanket to the side and climb out of my box. Pushing myself up, I look around for where that boom could have come from.

It sounded so close as if it was right in this alley, but I don't see anything. Feeling nervous, I run to my cart. Going through my things, I find a wooden plank. Pulling it out, I look up and down my alleyway. As I look around, I see a shadow move.

"Hey," I shout, swinging my plank. "Hey! I don't want any trouble, but this is my alleyway! Get out. Get out of here right now and we can forget about all of this."

The shadow doesn't answer me. Instead, he shoots out his arm. As he does, his arm breaks apart into tiny silver rocks. The rocks hit and knock me to the ground. They break my plank in half. Before I could get up, the rocks climb all over me. They cover me. All I can do is scream as the rocks quickly cover my eyes.

Robert:

With the threat defeated, my arm returns to my side and turns back into its original form. Approaching the threat, I compare his clothing to my own.

I am wearing a heavy model T-armor.

"If I am seen in this armor," I think, "Then I will be easily spotted."

Stripping the threat of his clothing, I put on a beanie, a jacket, and a pair of pants. Now that I am camouflaged, I can move around easily.

"Activating target list."

The list of targets I must destroy appears in my eye.

"QuickShot. SpeedBlade. Ms. Justice. JumpStart. Must destroy targets as soon as possible."

I start to walk.

Wolfgang Sturm:

Screaming as I am thrown from some sort of light, I look down as I fall. I see some buildings and immediately activate my claws. Sharp claws shoot out from my fingers. Digging them into the building, I'm able to catch myself.

"Where am I? What is this place? What's that smell?"

I just want to say thank you to you and everyone else for reading this story. I really appreciate it and I hope you enjoy the book. I also hope you come back for book 2.
