Chapter one, the beggining.

There I was again. Lying in my bed, hopeless, the VOICE inside me spoke again, "Jake, what are you doing, you're a proud member of the phoenix family. Get up and read the letter your mother sent you for your sixteenth birthday."

"Fine," I said, walking towards the letter that would spark a fire in my life. "Let me read it now."

The letter was very mysterious and had an ominous touch to it:

Was this it? The day I finally got a purpose in life? My maid walked into my room, "Up already jake? Would you like me to make you breakfast?"

"No," I said with hope in my voice, "Tell my family I'm leaving and I won't be back in a long time."

"I see you've read the letter your mother sent you, is that why you are leaving?" My maid said confused.

"Yes," I replied.

"I see, I won't stop you." My maid responded.
