The Beautiful But Strange Girl

It was my second day after I completely finished school. I didn't know what to do, so I walked through the park. As I walked around, I saw a girl laying on the ground. I started walking towards her, but it was like I wasn't controlling my own body. I sat down next to her, and said, "Hey, are you alright?"

I wanted to shake her awake, but I couldn't touch her. She had such a beautiful face, and since she was sleeping, she looked really cute. Her hair was white and she wore a beautiful kimono. I poked her cheek, and she slowly opened her eyes. I watched as she sat up, and she asked, "Where... where am I?" Her voice was so soft, and her eyes were blue like the skies above.

I said, "What do you mean? You're in Tokyo." The girl looked around and said, "W-What...?" She touched the top of her head and gasped. Then she said, "T-Then... you're a human?" I tilted my head and said, "Yeah?" She touched my face and said, "You're too fox-like to be a human..." I rolled my eyes. Everyone always said that, and my nickname ended up being "foxboy" when I was in high school.

Then it hit me. She was still touching my face, and I started to blush. "H-Hey... what's your name?" I asked taking her hands off of my face. She said, "My name is Akio. Yours?" I replied, "My name is Yukio. Do you mind telling me why you're confused about this situation?" She said, "Not here. Can I go to your home?"

My whole body shivered to the bone. I shook my head and said, "Yeah. Follow me." Then we both walked to the apartment I was staying in. Or more like the apartment building I owned. My father just gave me the job after he left mom and I. I've been keeping it in good shape for a while, and people love it there, so I guess it's a success.

I walked her to my room and when I opened the door, two of my friends were there waiting for me. One of them said, "Hey! Were have you been!?" The other said, "Ooh he has a girlfriend!" I blushed and said, "N-no! She was just lost. Anyway what are you two doing here?" My freinds, Goro and Jiro, come over often to hang out or to get me out of the apartment.

"Jiro you idiot! He's too shy to have a girlfriend!" Goro exclaimed. Jiro sighed and said, "But what if he actually stepped up? I'm also surprised that it isn't Anzu." Anzu is also one of my friends that come over often. In fact, she comes here more than the other two. It's because she has a crush on me. Goro said, "Sorry Yukio. We're here because we wanted you to go out, but it seems like you already did that yourself.

Akio said, "Oh more humans! I want to tell them about the place I'm from too!" I replied, "Uh... sure. Goro, Jiro. Can you stay?" Goro punched Jiro in the gut before he could say anything stupid, and said, "Of course we can stay! Have a seat." Akio walked over to the sofa, sat on it, and said, "Ooh... human material is really soft. Ok! Now I'll tell you about why I'm confused!"

She took a deep breath and said, "I'm from a land called The Second World. This place is full of animal hybrids. My sister and I are the princesses of most of them. Not too long ago, my sister teleported me to the Forbidden World. The world of humans! Yukio saved me from eternal sleep, and here I am!" My friends and I were left with our mouths and eyes wide open in surprise.

Goro said, "I've heard of the Second World... but I never knew it existed!" Jiro, still clutching his belly, said, "You actually believe this? I think she's just a furry." I smacked Jiro behind the head and I asked Akio, "Is there a way to get you home?" She nodded and said, "We need an animal sacrifice from the human world."

Jiro and I looked at Goro and he said, "No! There is no way I'll be sacrificing Hunter or Hinata!" Akio went up to Goro and asked, "Who are they?" Goro gently pushed her back and said, "They're cats that I take care of. I won't-" Suddenly, a meow came from the front door. I opened the door and there were two cats. One was a calico and the other was a pure white cat.

Akio asked, "Goro how did you know their real names?" Goro said, "I named them when they were kittens. Also, what do you mean by "real names"?" Akio said, "I've heard that humans name us without knowing our real names. I see... so you're their father?" Jiro laughed and said, "Why don't I get your wife? Haha!" Goro punched Jiro in the gut and shouted, "Can it!"

Goro then said, "I'm more like their god-father. Their real father was killed long ago." Akio said, "That's so sad..." Then she looked at Hinata and said, "You'll make a great sacrifice! How about I turn you into a hybrid?" Hinata started purring loudly, and I sighed in relief. Goro said, "Oh! I thought you were going to kill her! Haha- wait what!?"

Before Goro could do anything, Akio gave Hinata a white rose petal, and a portal appeared, sucking everyone in.
