Fight Between Alphas
Luke knew Declan was bound to throw him a punch if he knew Clarisse was going to work for him in the palace. He sidestepped and ducked as Declan swung his arm at a disadvantageous position. An attack that was wasteful as it didn’t connect at all.
“Clary will not work for you!” Declan raised his voice in anger.
Even before Declan could correct himself from the failed punch, Konrard had already put himself in between Luke and the Crystal Forest Pack’s Alpha. Declan staggered a bit, but immediately recovered and straightened his shoulders. Cracking his fingers, the Alpha immediately lunged at them both.
“Alpha!” Lowell called out to his brother. “Calm down!”
The Beta did his best to intervene, but Declan was serious and even dodged Lowell himself in order to throw in another punch. Konrard used Declan’s clumsiness to his advantage, and the Alpha stumbled forward as the young Beta merely dodged.
“We aren’t here to fight,” Konrard said.
