What Is he Hiding

"so what did you tell the girl this time," says Teresa.

"I didn't tell her anything but asked if she was trying to find answers...and why do you care anyway?" I continue.

"I care because I thought you only had eyes for me?" she says.

"you know I can't make that exception,".

"but why not?"

"you know the reason why!" I yell slamming my hand against the table.

She backs away in fear.

"I'm...I'm sorry I didn't mean to. I look at her then sigh

"We made a deal ok it's not like we were meant to be".

"I know it's because your seeking something more aren't you?". I shut my eyes for a minute thinking she's right the only reason why I have her with me is so that I can live without dying.

Because right now her blood is the substance I need. But I still need something that will last which leads me to find the right person that will keep me alive and sustain me.

"Teresa please leave,"

"Am I right at least? she says. I got angry and I point to the door she follows my finger without saying a word.

I keep thinking if I should tell Avalin the truth about who she is. I know I have taken the book from her grasp but that doesn't change a thing. I know who Avalin is, the book may explain some of her roots. It doesn't have all the information she needs.

Either way, I am suffering. Teresa is the only one keeping me stable.

I can't keep relying on her because eventually

she will die. I have to find a way to keep myself and those around me alive. Some how keep Avalin safe by forgoing the promise I made for myself.

Hey guys I hope you enjoyed chapter 3 it was shorter then my other chapters my goal is to make 4 longer so hang in there this story will continue.
