Passage of time

"Hey do you think his okay?" Asked a man after slashing a Tigraus, a black tiger that has a height of a grown elephant, has fallen lifelessly into the ground full of grass.

"I don't know he has been quiet for two days now." Said by a melodious voice to the man beside her.

Jason and amy were chatting while clearing an area full of Tigraus. From afar Ares was killing Tigrauses mercilessly with his bare hands. Pulling the creatures head off it's body, blood sprayed and formed a bloody mist in the air.

With his white long sleeved polo now dyed red he sighed and sat down to a near Boulder. He took his polo off, his chest now exposed to everyone for a brief moment before he put on a clean white t-shirt.

'fuck! Are there no clothings that can't be stained?' Ares thought, annoyed.

Two days ago.

"From now on you will be the one Washing your own clothes!" Said Irene.

"W-wha... B-but I can't do laundry!" Ares reasoned.

"That's not my problem, I'm tired of washing your clothes every day, you always bathe in blood. You think it's easy to wash clothes, huh?" Irene scolded.

Ares with his head lowered couldn't even utter a word to retort back. Five days ago the lieutenant general had called Irene and announced to them that their group will be an official division and will be leaded by Ares.

Of course this was a great shock to all of them, this means that Ares has now the same status as Vincent, a Major General. Though there's still no ceremony yet to let the public know about them because of the situation of Ares.

The lieutenant general gave them missions every week to accomplish, sometimes the task seemed impossible to accomplish but they always get it done before a week could pass.

With this kind of routine they're over all prowess sky rocketed.

It's been one month and a week had passed ever since they've arrived at to this world called Álympos. In just a month many things improved about their physique.

Especially Jin, the previous chubby looking boy has now a leaned but mascular body that's dreamed to have by many men. The same thing could be said with Ares, every fiber of his muscles is well compressed that even his enemies felt like they're punching on a very solid matter.

"Hey Irene." Ares called out.

"What?" She asked monotonously.

"Is the passage of time in this universe similar to the the passage of time in my universe?" He asked while staring at the blue sky.

She looked at Ares for a good minute before answering.

"No, the passage of time here is many times faster than yours. In here a month and week had passed, but in your universe only a week had passed." She explained to him.

"I see..." He didn't said too much as he indulge himself at staring at the blue sky, above two moons could be seen.

"The sky here is beautiful." He said as he laid his body at the grass field earth. By now all of the Tigraus was slain by them it was time for them to rest now.

She didn't say anything she only looked at him silently with eyes glimmering with admiration, Ares was captivated by the beauty of the scene Infront of him to notice the gaze of the beautiful woman beside him. Above was a bright blue sky, a grassland and green trees and from afar a huge lake could be seen.

It was truly a perfect view but he felt bitter that Jin couldn't witness the beauty of nature he was seeing right now.

Ares closed his eyes to take a nap and for the last five hours nobody bothered him, after all he pretty much do all the work by himself.

Clad in a white military uniform, a figure walked towards a fancy looking door.

Knock! knock!

"Come in."

After the voice trailed off the figure opened the door, he was greeted by a sitted man in a balck leathered chair and infront of him is a wooden office desk. The only illumination of the room is from the huge window at the back of the sitted person.

"You have called, sir?" Jin asked in respectful tone.

"Hmm, you've indeed change a lot." The man looked at him and observed the changes within him.

"Sir, may I know when are you going to release Ares?" He asked as he looked at the eyes of the man Infront of him.

"Realease? He was never imprisoned."

"What do you mean?" Jin narrowed his eyes, his tone becoming colder.

"I have sent him to a southern direction where many portals are appearing. His task is to clear demonic portals in order to clear his name, and recently I've promoted him into a Major general." The man explained.

"What?! This is akin to sending him to his death!!" Jin shouted in anger. His pressure golden aura eruoted in the room.

Ever since the golden bow had appeared in his hands, he felt a very familiar yet strange feeling to it, as if a precious item was returned back to him. In a span of a month he mastered in using the golden energy around him.

Though he still go to the academy in order for him to have knowledge about the world, knowledge was very precious to him after all.

"Kid, I will only say it once, retract your aura." The man spoke as he looked at him with cold eyes.

Jin took a deep breath and retracted his aura. He knew the man infront of him is many times stronger than him, and he just list control over his emotions earlier. Lucky for him the man with the highest authority Infront of him has a lit of patience or else he woukd have died on the spot.

"My apologies." He spoke, lowering his head to show his sincere apology.

"You don't need to worry he has his own group, six of them to be precise. They are leaded by Ares, though he said that no one must tell you this I knew that you'll eventually know of this Information in the near future."

Jin was quiet after hearing this, he stood there, thinking something that he only knows.

"I would like to find him." After a couple of minutes in silence he spoke.

The lieutenant general's eyes slightly widened when he heard the boy i front of him.

"What will you do once you two meet?" He asked out of curiosity.

"I will smack him in the head." He replied with a slight smile.

"Hmm..... Very well." After contemplating he agreed.

"I will arrange the soldiers who will come with you, I will give task to your division every week just like any others." He continued.

"Thank you, sir." He spoke before leaving the room.

Inside a mansion in the kingdom of yuran.

"Come! We will travel south!" A commanding voice shouted.

Two figure rose up and began moving as the same direction as him, the figure opened the door and came out.

Riese leading his own group of three, has a resolute and stern look painted on his countenance.

Though not an official the lieutenant general from another kingdom has arranged and gave him two brilliant soldiers at his command.

The two groups in the kingdom began their preparation to find a certain person, both has different objectives to that person.

Lying under a tree, Ares's lashes fluttered as he opened his closed eyes, by now, night has fallen and the moon rose high above.

"Oh your finally awake!" Jason exclaimed.

"Why?" Ares asked while looking at him.

"We've got a call from Vincent, he said that there's a new opened portal near to us in the Western direction. Though its a hundred miles away from us. If we travel tonight we'll get there by tomorrow noon if we don't stop for a rest." Walking out of the tent, Irene spoke while walking towards Ares and Jason.

"I see, then we'll travel right away. Tell Fred to gather the horses." He ordered.

Jayson nodded and carried out the task to him by Ares.

Ares then stood up and stretched his body and took a deep breath before helping the others fold their tents.

After preparing the things they needed to prepare they all went inside the caravan and later on, the horses began galloping towards the west.

"I hope we can end this task quickly." Amy sighed.

"Don't worry, with Ares fighting along with us, this will be over in just a matter of seconds!" Anna said to her.

Ares couldn't help but smile bitterly. Doesn't her praising is a bit too exaggerated?

"Don't praise him too much or he'll boast about it nonstop later on." Jason said, trying to warn Anna.

In a Span of one month all of them has gotten closer, battling alongside with each other, even though Fred was always quiet, he always listen to their stories and laugh along with them. They have formed a bond akin to a brotherhood with Ares as the eldest even though he was the youngest in terms of age in the group.

All of them heartily laugh as they tell stories of their own experiences in life, their destination is still very far, so passing the time by telling stories was a good and enjoyable topic for all of them.
