Not Tonight

Their brawl passed the stage of no return. Jin was on the brink of losing both himself and the fight. What happens next could put his family's reputation in jeopardy and his freedom taken away. Being the first male child of his parents, whom he ends up with, can affect his entire clan.

An alpha has little to lose when they enter into any kind of bond with an omega, but it could mark the end of the world for an omega.

As Zhen inches closer to changing Jin's status as an unmarked omega, he spontaneously experiences a sharp pain in his loins.

"OOOUU!!!" The crowd outside shouted when the omega gave Zhen a surprise kick in the nut, turning the tables around in the twinkle of an eye.

"I did not see that coming." Hudson's mouth dropped, now feeling a little sorry for Knox. Xander barged in just as the crowd watched Zhen loosen his grip and slump onto the ground, crouching in untapped agony.

Heil followed right after, pulling Jin behind him.

Xander stood in the way when Heil threatened to beat his brother up.

"Heil, the room is spinning."

The latter gave up, following Jin's suffering tone. Heil didn't care if the others were affected by Zhen's pheromones: they had legs to run. Jin's health, however, was essential to him. "Hold on, Jin, I've got you." Heil carried the taller man carefully.

Jin recoiled in his arms like a child as they exited. Bolin and the rest went after them.

"You really had to fight someone else? I was gone for only ten minutes." When they left the building, Heil lowered the omega onto a lover's bench. Jin only mumbled some words, pouting like a child as he tried to suck in the fresh air.

The scene made Heil smile. "Well done... It took you long enough, but you defended yourself to the end. I told you to keep my necklace around your neck so no alpha can smell you."

"I forgot to take it," Jin muttered, snuggling up to the alpha, who released a slight breeze of pheromones to comfort him.

"Hmmm...You smell nice." Jin clung to Heil, burying his face in the alpha's chest.

The difference in their height made him bend his back a little, yet as long as he could take in the musk of the alpha, Jin didn't mind his bad posture.

" Easy...Are you feeling better?" Heil caressed his face gently, occasionally shifting a perky hair strand aside.

Wren and the gang sat on a bench far behind, spying on the two with many expressions.

"They look inseparable." Hudson leaned onto the bench.

Bolin: "They deny having feelings for each other, yet Jin calms down easily when he's around. This is why we hated the idea of being omegas. What's a clan head if he can easily be manipulated by an alpha's scent? Tch!"

"So that's why you beat people up for calling you two omegas?" Hudson turned to look at Bolin in awe.

Ann: "Well, Hudson, that's more of my fault. I was not so lucky with my first heat. Mine occurred at school during class hours, and the alphas around went crazy. Jin had to fight off about fifteen students to keep me safe. Things went south when Bolin got to the scene and was also affected by their pheromones. It was difficult shielding both of us, and it took a while for the teachers to arrive and tame the situation... Lee Jin sustained some serious wounds when it was over and had to be hospitalized. When he came home, our mother scolded and blamed him for what happened... I guess he never got that scene out of his mind. If not for Heil, I doubt he would have allowed Wren, Sage and other alphas to come closer to us."

Wren: "Lee Ann, it's not your fault. It's just bad timing."

Sage: "Yeah, don't be sad. Master Jin is the strongest omega I've ever met."

Bolin frowned at those words: "What do you mean by that? Don't you see me sitting here?"

"Oops, sorry." Sage hid his face behind his sister, and they all laughed.

The couple slowly separated after noticing their presence. Heil was the first to get up and help Jin out of the seat.

"You three should head home; it's nearly dawn." He handed Jin over to Ann.

"Thanks, Heil," Ann smiled. Bolin only bowed swiftly and then proceeded to carry his brother. "See you later, bro." Wren tapped Heil's shoulder and went with the rest.

Heil slips both hands into his pockets, watching the party slowly disappear into the night before going his way.

Morning came too soon, and the three tigers struggled to stay awake through breakfast. "What's wrong with you," Madam Lee's voice startled them awake.

"Nothing, Mother." Ann put up a sweet smile.

Unlike their mother, the Lee clan head was a gentle being. "You look stressed. Did you three stay up all night again?" Master Lee Kang asked his supposedly innocent children.

"Mnm." The youngest nodded, his eyelids dancing up and down.

Madam Lee: "Ann, we'll only stay in Cratorlin for a few more days. Your father is taking me shopping today. Do you three want to come along?"

Ann: "Thank you, but I must handle some schoolwork with my brothers."

Master Kang: "Mnnn, alright."

On the other hand, Madam Lee was not satisfied with that response. "Ann, your school is on a break."

"It's a project for my foundation, and I have more work to do," Lee Ann said.

Done with breakfast, their parents left the dining area to get ready. Lee Ann accompanied them to the staircase and leaned against the handrail while her parents went up.

A reflexive bang and the sound of cutlery landing on the floor quickly drew her attention back to the dining area.

Met with a rather amusing sight, she took out her phone and made a short video. Ann walked around the table, ensuring she got a good angle from her brothers.

Jin dozed off, landing his face on a bowl of rice porridge. His hand hung loosely by his side with his spoon on the floor. Bolin had also collapsed into his seat, holding onto his fork and knife like a child eagerly waiting for his food.

Lee Ann gently pulled Jin's head up, revealing the beard-like decoration of porridge on her brother's face. As if things could not get any messier, Jin scratched his cheek when he felt a tickle and rubbed the porridge further.

Giggling softly, Ann lowered his head back down. She veered the camera at Bolin and said, "Bo-Bo, do you not like your food?Bo?" She picked up a chopstick and poked him.

"Lee Jin, stop messing with my shampoo," Bolin whined, reacting with his eyes still closed.

Lee Ann held her mouth but could not wholly tune out the laugh. As much as she thought it funny, she couldn't bring herself to wake them up. So she wiped Jin's face and left them there for a while.
