President?
Hester was dumbfounded.
...
The door to the interrogation room was pushed open again, and a little boy rushed in first, shouting, "Daddy!"
Dave's crisp voice was tinged with impatience. He sprang out at Farley.
His eyes were brimming with excitement and surprise when he gazed at Farley's cold face. He pretended to be mature and didn't hug his father, standing beside him and whispered, "Daddy...."
Farley's gaze softened when he saw his son. He reached out and touched Dave's soft curly hair.
A tall man walked in. It was Garret. He glanced at Farley, who was cuffed to a chair, and leaned against the door, smiling, "It's been so many years. I didn't expect to see you here. What do you think? Is the police station good enough for you?"
"It's disappointing, but the people working here...," He took a look at the shady figure who had sneaked in through the door slit and was moving over against the wall, smiling, "are fine."
