CHAPTER 19

"Everything you know." She said with a purpose driven look on her face.

"I don't have any suspects in mind now but whoever the serial killer is, there's not much on him, he's as clean as a plate and I think he's connected to the anonymous gift killer too." The inspector said and her face dropped in disappointment. She already knew all this.

"What did you discuss with Mrs Tan before she died about her customer's murderer?" Yoo Na asked curiously.

"Nothing much, she didn't see anything apart from the co worker dropping him off, he's the last person to see him." The inspector said and her mouth slightly parted. Maybe she could talk to his co worker, he may had seen something o some one.

"Where do they work and who's the coworker that was last seen with him?" She asked eagerly.

"Its his director but I don't want you questioning anyone, besides, I already questioned him." The inspector said and she nodded.

"Where did he work?" She asked.

"Even if I tell you, they won't let you meet the director since you have no business with him and you don't even know what he looks like." The inspector added and she sighed deeply because he was right. No one would let a low life see the director and waste his time.

"So what's your lead now?" She asked.

"The only lead we have is that he's left handed because of the way he broke Mrs Tan's neck, that's the mistake that he's made so far but it's still almost useless." inspector Han said with a grim look on his face.

"Really? That's not bad, there's still hope." She said with a hope filled voice.

"If I'm not available and you need someone to talk to, you can talk to Jung Moon or inspector Do." He said and she nodded. "You should head home now, its getting late." He said and she thanked him before leaving.

Yoo Na arrived home at almost night time.

"Yoo Na are you okay? Where have you been?" Her mother asked but she wasn't in the mood for her nagging.

"It's okay, my bike got bad so I had to walk." She said blankly as she moved to her room.

"What? How could you spoil your bike? You know we don't have any money for bus fare." Her mother complained but she ignored her as she went into her room. She wondered if she should go to the company and ask for the director. She made up her mind to see him even though there was a chance that she wouldn't, it was better to try. She searched on google where Cha Yeol worked and she read it out. "APEX MANUFACTURING CO." It was the leading manufacturing company in south Korea and it exceeded all over the world.The company was over a one hour drive with the bus from her house and if she walked, it would be a five hour journey. So she had to save enough money for the bus then before she went to see the director. Luckily she had a part time job but her parents kept taking all her money since they were poor, so this time she'd hide it properly from them and save it.

The CEO walked in the company and everyone bowed their heads in respect. Every worker gathered in the hall since the CEO had an announcement to make. Everyone was excited for the news since the Chairman seemed to be in a good mode as he stood on the podium as he spoke. He was in his late sixties.

"Good day my workers, I have an announcement to make." The chairman paused as the workers clapped their hands together. "Our new branch for APEX has been opened and the first anniversary party will be held next month at the new branch." He said and everyone's eyes widened as they gasped in wonderment and a loud applause was heard from the crowd. Dae Hyun stared at the chairman with a blank expression, he smiled as he thought about his devilish plans but someone else seeing him would think he was genuinely being happy about the opening of the new branch. The workers were so happy about the new branch but mostly because of the party since a lot of indigenous and wealthy individuals from around the world would be attending the party.

"Mr Jang!" The chairman called Dae Hyun as he headed to his office after the announcement. He turned around with a charming smile on his face.

"Chairman, how have you been?" Dae Hyun said as he bowed his head slightly while shaking his hand.

"You don't have to do that, you're like a son to me. Smart, competent and loyal." He said and Dae Hyun grinned.

"Thank you for your kind words chairman, ever since I lost my parents, you've been like a father figure to me." He said with a gloom expression on his face which disappeared after some seconds, making it even more genuine.

"You've been doing a great job for the company, I'll make you the Vice Chairman after the new branch has been opened." He said with a serious expression.

"Thank you Chairman, I won't disappoint you." He said with a grateful expression.

"Well...I have to go now, I have a busy schedule." The chairman said as he left his sight. His smile dropped as soon as the chairman left. Being a vice president was already predicted because of how hard he had worked but still, it was a position too small for him and he wanted the CEO position since it suited him perfectly and being the CEO meant that he'd be powerful enough to stand tall against the police if he was being caught in any problems. The only problem was the Chairman's oldest daughter and younger son but he would take

Dae Hyun had been very busy with work concerning the new branch and he didn't want to see her since she'd be distracting. Min Hye didn't get a glimpse of him since he was in his office all day, even after work had ended she couldn't still see him and she felt a bit disappointed. Work ended for the day and she left the company but he was still in his office working non stop.

Dae Hyun went home around midnight, he was busy because of the new branch. He lay on his bed after putting on his silky pyjamas.

He laid on his bed and he couldn't stop thinking of Min Hye, the way she smelled, the way she felt and the way she tasted were still imprinted on his mind after their intimacy the other night. He smiled at the thought of her and he immediately rose up from the bed, he took off his pyjamas and wore a black hoodie and sweatpants then he put on a hat and mask.

He had worked all day at work but he wasn't in any bit tired. He took his car keys and drove off, he stopped his car a few blocks away from Min Hye's house, then he walked quickly to her house. The lights were off, the perfect timing for him. The front door was obviously locked and it had a password security settings so he went around to the back door. He brought out a pin and a very tiny blade then slipped it into the key hole, after much twisting, the door clicked open and he went in. The house was dark and he realized she was asleep as he put on the light and looked around the house, it was modern and chic, there was not much colours, it mostly grey or black. They were paintings hung on the wall and he admired her tastes as he looked some more. He quietly opened the doors, checking for her room until he found it, her lights were put out so he didn't put it on to disturb her, there was still a touch of light in the room so he could see her sleeping face as she lay on the bed. He smiled as he looked at her peaceful sleeping face.
