Zeon’s Personal Bodyguard

Zeon, Li, and Toast enter the huge training facility in the white palace. There's a lot of training equipment and some of them even more advanced. Looking at all of this Li and Toast have a slightly surprised feeling, they both think that the rich are really different, it's awesome here. This is the first time they have seen such a very suitable place to practice.

The bright light of white lamp illuminating the training facility from up and down leaves no trace of dark spots on the training equipment. From their right side near the windows, morning sun can be seen lightening the training equipment giving them some vibrance which hooks you in to run chasing the sun from those treadmills.

Arriving at the treadmill they can seem to see many areas in the empire from the clear windows, they can even see the crowd from the central plaza from here. The building materials and defensive system nowadays have been strengthened a lot, for an important place like white palace, even if someone shooting a reinforced bazooka with their runic crest it won't even reach the building because of the barrier, even if they really hit it, the explosion won't even leave any scratch on these windows.

"Zeon, who are they? You should know that strangers cannot be allowed to get inside the white palace, right?"

Looking at the one approaching, Zeon suddenly realizes that he hasn't introduced his new friends to them.

"Sister Mira, you're as beautiful as always, even the lamp and the morning sun out there aren't more dazzling than one sister mira, he.. he.."

"Okay, stop with the smooth words, now can you introduce those two?"

"Wait, Sister Mira, I'll also call sister Elizabeth, brother Geralt, and brother Lux so I can introduce them to all of you at the same time."

"Alright, sure."

Zeon walking toward his other brother and sisters to call them to come together so then he can introduce them to Li and Toast.

"Alright brother Geralt, brother Lux, sister Elizabeth, and sister Mira, the one on my right side who is a bit big is my new friend as well as my personal guard or protector, Li. Li's an orphan that usually lived in our branch church before this, now he will live here in the white palace staff area so he can do his duty to protect me. His father and mother died heroically fighting against the Dusk criminal organization when the bombing incident happened years ago in the principality. Our people usually call him deacon Li, he's our church's most talented youngest deacon, he's the same age as me and his hobby seems to be eating all kinds of delicacies, his greatest dream is to be a cardinal one day to help our church protect humanity."

Hearing his introduction from Zeon, Li felt flattered that he can remember all of that even his hobby that people seem to find odd in this kind of dangerous world. It seems that he really has a good eye to acknowledge Zeon as a friend. Li didn't have any real friends around his age from the church, Zeon is the only one who keeps talking and stays around him even though his first impression is not that good.

Looking at Zeon, Li becomes more excited to achieve his goals, at least even if he cannot become a cardinal he'll definitely keep his promise to protect Zeon, if one day he can really become a cardinal then he'll definitely help Zeon to become the next head of the church. That's how much he really appreciates this new friend named Zeon.

"Good morning, brother Geralt, brother Lux, sister Elizabeth, sister Mira, I'll definitely do my job well to protect Zeon. Don't worry everyone, you can trust me, Li!" Li enthusiastically said to them.

Zeon continued with his introduction for his other new friend.

"Brother Geralt, brother Lux, sister Elizabeth, and sister Mira, the one on my left side who is a bit thin is my new friend as well as my personal guard or protector Toast. He's a weird and strange fellow that I found on the riverside before the murloc incident happened. He seems to have lost his memories of who he is. There's not much info about him as our grandfather can find any of his data in the federation humanity database. But you can definitely trust him as he protected me together with Li when a murloc suddenly attacked us yesterday. He like the Coffee Caramel Toast that I make for my breakfast very much, that's how his current name come to be."

Even though Toast lost his memories, he still understands common courtesy such as introducing yourself to new people especially friends and not being rude to others. As for why he's accepting such a job, he is also quite not sure, but he definitely needs money and food to continue to live well. After seeing the training facility on the white palace, he feels quite lucky with his decision to follow Zeon to live here. In a dangerous place like this, power always matters the most.

He also doesn't quite understand his special power, but he seems to be able to feel his surroundings. He can feel that Zeon and the other people from the church and white palace environment don't seem to reflect any dangerous feeling so he felt safe here. Last night he could sleep peacefully. When he's still wandering the streets sometimes he can feel some dangerous feeling from some place where there are not many people such as an alley or when night came, he can still live until today wandering the street mostly due to his special power.

Sometimes, he also feels weird about himself. From Zeon, he knows that there's no human who has special power like him, maybe it is his born talent. Such examples can be seen in some humans who have the power to see a fraction of the future. The more obvious one are those murloc that he saw yesterday, they seem to have been born with the talent to manipulate water. Maybe his talent isn't that special, but Zeon told him to not tell anyone about his special power. He said that this world is too dangerous, maybe there will be some people who will try to kidnap or hunt him if they know that he has such special power, especially those criminal organization members.

Toast also thinks that what Zeon said makes sense as his power can seem to counter those criminals. Zeon also said that he need to develop it more, maybe one day he can perceive dangerous things from miles away, as he is now it's only some few hundred meters from his current location where his eye can reach.

"Good morning, brother Geralt, brother Lux, sister Elizabeth, sister Mira, I'll definitely do my job well to protect Zeon. As long as there's Coffee Caramel Toast for breakfast, I'll definitely keep my word." Toast calmly said to them.

"Well, nice to meet you Li and Toast, please protect little Zeon." said sister Mira while smiling toward us as the others nodded their heads and went back to their respective training area.

Okay, it seems we are early today. Zeon chose option 1.

"Alright, new friends, why don't we start with the training routine, we'll do a 10km run on the treadmill first!"

After a 10km run from the treadmill Zeon continued with his 100 push ups, 100 sit ups, and 100 squats. This is his daily training routine, he never uses any of those advanced heavy weights to train his muscle or any other training equipment as his system is good enough to increase some strength. But, today is different, after yesterday's fight he understands the most important power that humans need to train with, the runic force. As he's yesterday, his runic force doesn't seem to be good enough to defend against murloc.

The normal Murloc that yesterday Zeon fought against can be said to be specialized in speed and it's only the lowest ranked murloc, in human terms they are only some scout the murloc sent to get more information about humans. The shield that he used to defend against such an attack still bent even after being imbued by his runic force. So he realized how important it was to train the foundation of runic power.

Zeon comes to the runic force training equipment to enhance his runic force power. The training equipment looks like a ball made of unknown materials that seems hard enough and behind it there is a number that shows how much runic force you can enforce the ball with. Putting his hands on the ball, Zeon tries to enforce the ball with his runic force. Then the number started to go up slowly and stopping at 232, it means that Zeon can add that much attacking or defensive power to the thing that he enforces with his runic force.
