Visiting The Empire Branch Church (1)

"Usually every branch church is led by an archbishop, but in some location which is near the central of humanity domain, they should be safer than the other location. The western branch church in our empire is one of such so it's only being led by a bishop with some deacons to help manage the church. You are lucky, little Zeon. Grandpa also needs your help to check directly the condition of the branch church and ensure the reported expenses are in accordance with the actual situation."

"But it's already quite late, I don't think I can finish the inspection today. Should I stay overnight at the branch church? The western branch church sounds nice for a night stay, its location is safer on the inner side of the humanity domain and the person who led the church seems to really like kids. What do you think, grandpa? Can I go with Li and Toast to stay overnight there?"

"It's still afternoon, you can go to the other three branch churches first before going to the west branch church. Do you want me to inform the bishop who led the west branch church so they can prepare to welcome you, little Zeon?"

The federation has already made trains a free to ride vehicle for everyone in the humanities domain, they are connected to many areas, faster on their way, and safer because many personnel maintain it daily. The federation is already in negotiation with the dwarves and elves to create railways through their location in hope for further cooperation can be held between their domains.

"Where are we going first, Zeon?" asked Li because Zeon is the one who will do the inspection where he and Toast will protect him along the way.

"Here we go again, Li. Our first destination is the south branch church. Counter clockwise from there, we will go to the east branch church, north branch church, and finally stay the night in west branch church. But, first we'll need to refill our ammunition such as bomb and armor, we can just buy it in Arcadeus Weapon Shop on our way, then we can walk to the branch church from there."

Arriving at the Arcadeus Weapon Shop, Zeon bought a lot of equipment for Toast, especially the high end bangle which is very important for storing many things and communication with each other. Then they buy some armor because their armor was broken in the previous fight. For bomb, they buying more elemental bomb as it was the most effective weapon for them who really haven't expertised in anything and not strong enough to fight in close combat. The smoke bomb and flaslight bomb also very usefull to disrupt an opponent momentum. Not forgetting his passion, Zeon also buys the necessary equipment for the most popular occupation in humanity domain that he wants to learn later such as equipment for blacksmithing, cooking, making medicine, and engraving. Information these days can be found everywhere from the communication bangle. He also asks the help from the shop staff to help him to pick the most popular utensils that are usually being bought by the respective profession. After that they are walking to the south branch church which is located not far away from the weapon shop.

Seeing the street address at the crossroads, this is the right way to the south branch church. Zeon, Li, and Toast walk to the exact address that has been given by his grandpa. They can see a big building in front of them. This is the south branch church. Given how big the cathedral is, Zeon didn't feel surprised if the branch church was this huge. Its size is many times bigger than some houses on the side as it also has some dorms for the church personnel and orphans to sleep in.

The gate of the branch church is open everyday, it only closes when the night comes where everyone needs to sleep. It's still afternoon so there are still many people who can be seen wandering around the church. Zeon can see some kids playing at the garden near the front gate, some deacons watching from the side while talking to each other, a bishop can be seen having a tea time below a tree while supervising all of this.

There's also a training ground that can be seen from the front gate where an archbishop is helped by two bishops instructing many deacons from young to old and some orphans who are old enough to train their physique. The archbishop is only supervising from the side. A bishop together with the young people running around the field while the other one teaches the old one to use the closed hand combat technique. Before using a weapon that's also how Zeon training his physique, but being born as the Zahakkan family lineage, he can feel that his talent is better than a normal people, but if you compare it to someone strong like the hero or the protagonist, Zeon actually not that special except his compatibility with artifacts which he just found out today with the help of his grandpa.

Zeon, Li, and Toast walk toward the direction of the training ground to meet with the archbishop who led the south branch church of the empire. They greeted the archbishop and introduced themselves. There are ten archbishops in the church so everyone usually remembers who they are by looking at the website of the federation database about our church high level personnel.

"Good afternoon Archbishop Bill, I'm Zeon, beside me are my friends, Li is the one who is a bit bigger and Toast is the one who is a bit thin."

I know that usually grandpa will send some church personnel to do it, but today is his last day working as the pope so I will help him with these things that are not too difficult. I know that I'm not that strong yet, so I can only help the church by doing some little things like this one. It's also fun because I can play around the empire while observing some beautiful scenery along the way."

Zeon, Li, and Toast led by Archbishop Bill walking around and inspecting the branch church. There are not many to see as south branch church expenditure reports this season only include daily needs such as food, medicine, water and electricity bill, and church apparatus. After a while, Zeon inspection duty for the south branch church was concluded. Zeon thanked archbishop Bill for his cooperation and kind conduct. Zeon, Li, and Toast saying goodbye to the archbishop and ready for their next destination.

Zeon takes a look at the empire map and figures out the train route to reach the east branch church. Zeon, Li, and Toast take the train and get down not far from their destination. This is the east branch church. Their size is also similar to the other church but a bit higher, maybe because this is the church which is close to the sea area so they make the building have a watchtower on top of it to monitor the activities along the coastal border.
