Chapter 69
Nea pov.
"You know if you had said you had this ability we could have passed all the floors more easily."
Listening to the words of Andrey riding beside me on the back of a terracotta beast resembling a bull, only what made entirely of earth, except for its horns, which were made of green glass, I begin to think about what he has said.
The truth is he is right and what he is talking about is my taming ability, which I have been forgetting, yes very classic of me I know.
"Ha ha ha ha, I forgot."
"What not that wizards excel in their intelligence, how could you forget something like that?"
Feeling Andrey's gaze on me, I hide my face in the mane of the bull I ride and if these bulls have a mane made of plants or leaves, knowing that he is not going to stop looking at me until I answer him, I try to change the subject.
"That's beside the point, the really important thing is where we're headed now."
"I will accept your crude attempt to change the subject, now where we are moving to is the ancient crystal forest, which is a good distance from here."
Moving past the obvious sarcasm with which he said his first words, I start to think about what the crystal forest might be... Well, not really just looked around the ancient city and wait for Andrey to give his explanation.
"It was easier to ask me instead of waiting for him to speak."
"I'm in power saving mode."
"Ah… The crystal forest is one of the hunting grounds where the guild has the most influence, it is divided into different types of regions according to the difficulty which is monitored by a guild executive so that unfortunate events do not arise, even has formed a small town due to the activity of fledgling adventurers."
Already leaving the city completely devoured by the sand, Andrey finishes giving his explanation and takes out a map which he studies for a few moments, then appears a magic compass which can follow certain coordinates, to finish all this he looks to the sides and begins to move at full speed towards there.
"here we go again"

*crack* *crack* *crack* *crack* *crack* *crack* *crack* *crack
With a sound as if an eggshell was shattered the cracks start to form in the ice dome that surrounds us, feeling that I stop seeing the memories of the master and move my gaze towards Ekaterina from which really high amounts of mana come out, which cause the destruction of my ability.
"Welcome."
"aghh, how long was I out?"
Speaking towards Ekaterina who responds quickly proving that her senses are not dulled, I stare towards her, as even though she has answered me, she still hasn't come out of that compromising position.
"No idea... Just to be polite, but you need help?"
"No, I can... I, I can... Yes help me."
After finishing his attempts without any progress, he drops his objections and accepts my help, which I really wouldn't want to do, come on my bones are aching all over from not having moved the last... days? Maybe?
"I'm coming, to all this looking that you have survived, I can think that you have managed to synchronize with her, right?"
"Yes... I guess you could say I've managed to tame her, but she's weakened, no rather it would be incomplete."
Managing to get up from the ground to which she seemed to be glued the last few days, I start to move towards the coffin in which Ekaterina is still with all her efforts it has been impossible to move from there, already being next to her I simply hit her with my paw taking her forcibly out of the coffin and as if that had been a sign, the old lid flies back to land on the coffin and the energy returns to Ekaterina who makes a superhuman maneuver managing to stand up in an instant.
"I'm back!"
Jumping back due to Ekaterina's sudden energetic startle, I look carefully towards her, who has been lying in a coffin for a few days and without any kind of movement I can only think, how the hell can she be so clean! And don't come to me as if that's not important.
"Congratulations... I guess."
"thank you."
Not picking up on my obvious lack of interest in her words and my intense gaze still scanning her, she responds completely serious to my words, followed by her tapping her armor as if it has dust on it, pulling out a sword scabbard that doesn't seem to belong to her and then putting away her new relic.
"well, it's time to get out of here!"
"I don't know if you're forgetting, but there's a very important dragon-snake out there!"
Seeing Ekaterina finishing her whole selfie process, I reply with the obvious giving her enough time to kick the coffin and send it flying, leaving me with a rather surprised look on my face oh sure I'm a wolf it doesn't show on my face.
"what has the coffin done to you!
"Don't yell, besides I don't go around destroying things... Well, not many times, whatever this is the secondary exit."
Yelling simply in jest towards Ekaterina because she destroyed public property, Ekaterina quickly replies that she doesn't normally destroy things, something that makes me think that maybe she is a member of a certain fairy guild.
"Then how do you know about this secondary exit?"
"umm... The heirloom memories told me, what! Don't look at me like I'm crazy or cursed, besides you're an heirloom and you have personality as well as memories obviously!"
"yeah, yeah, yeah."
"SIF!"
Hearing Ekaterina's very pissed off scream, by the way it seems that telling a templar that he is cursed is a pretty bad thing... well moving on from this topic, I downsize and start to climb down the ladder below the coffin.
*Click*
"what was it, <ice control:ice shield>"
Going down some steps on one particular one a small *click* was heard, following my instincts I quickly created a solid ice shield from the ground, managing to stop the two arrows being shot from the darkness.
"what was that! And don't tell me arrows!"
"a trap, obviously it seems to me that I'll have to take the lead".
Snorting at the obviousness of her answer, he let Ekaterina pass to the front, though I keep thinking what kind of idiot sets traps in his secondary exit.
