The New Guy

Completed. "If you leave me like this, I'm afraid this here", he tapped his index finger on the right temple of his head and grinned, "will finally snap." ______________________________________________________ When Yoon Se Ah, an ordinary office worker, meets Lee Min Hyun, their department's new intern, she thinks of him no more than a fool in love. However, as their relationship develops, her life makes its turn for the worst, throwing her at his mercy in the end. Turns out that Min Hyun, the very same guy that was groveling at Se Ah's feet is actually a dangerous and unstable person who has been obsessed with her ever since their first encounter. And he knows the dark truth about the past she's been trying so hard to hide from everybody else. With Min Hyun's unsettling feelings, his dangerous family drama, and Se Ah's own contradicting desires, who is the actual bad guy there? And will both of them get what they want in the end? This story is about two mentally broken people who cannot give one another what they want, even though deep inside they wish they would find solace in each other, thus, although there is no "real" romance, they still manage to form their own twisted connection, and they don't really mind it. WARNING: This story contains very mature and sometimes graphic content and touches upon unpleasant and uncomfortable topics.

Decision To Leave

"So... Everything ends today, then?"

Ah Yeon looked at Lee Min Hyun who was sitting next to her on the balcony with a hot cup of coffee in his hands. The past two days were rather hectic for him - the constant back and forth with the lawyers, exhausting, lengthy police interviews, and meetings with people whose jobs he did not even know existed, were much more draining than anything he had the chance to do before.

What he found the most disappointing in all that, however, was not the neverending stream of papers to sign or people to meet, but the fact that with all that paper-signing chaos, he barely had an opportunity to see Ah Yeon, especially since he knew that once everything was finally over, he would probably never see her again.

Min Hyun gulped his coffee, forgetting that it was still cold, winced from the burning sensation on his tongue, and stuck it out like a dog, perhaps in a weird attempt to help it get colder.
