Thaddeus invited himself to our table, still ignoring me. Miss Raina brought out our food, and Thaddeus some beer and some water. She even gave Thaddeus a stink-eye that sent shivers down my spine. Miss Raina is scary! Rue ordered waffles, scrambled eggs, sausages, turkey bacon, and some orange juice. I was so thrilled that my mate wasn't going to just eat salad and drink water like the women I have dated. It is one thing to watch what you eat, but most of us paranormals have high metabolisms. We have to eat a lot, since we “eat-for-two”. I ordered some pancakes, scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, and a Bloody Mary.
