"Can I ask the reason?" Mo Jun asked.

He knew that Mo Corporation still needed Si Corporation in order to completely recover from the current crisis. As Feng Corporation had leaked many pieces of information of Mo Corporation which had created billions of losses to them and now if their partnership with Si Corporation would get canceled then they may not be able to recover.

"As you know that Mo Corporation's many pieces of information were leaked and its effect is still continuing to remain as long as the Feng Corporation exists. I can't take that risk" Si Li said.

Mo Jinnan rolled his eyes after hearing Si Li's reason. He understood that Si Li wanted something else, this reason was only an excuse to let him off.

Mo Jun didn't understand Si Li's tricks and still tried to convince him, "Xiao Li, don't forget we had formed this partnership when your father was in the position of CEO of this company. You can't cancel this partnership so easily".

Even currently Mo Jinnan was working as an employee instead of as a CEO. The current CEO of Mo Corporation was still Mo Jun. However, no one could blame him because some past events had happened which made Mo Jun like this. His inability to trust his own son had led to the unstable conditions that the Mo Corporation was in now.

Lu Lan was quietly listening to whatever was happening here. In fact, she also understood that Si Li was up to his trickery and he wanted something else. Now she was eagerly waiting for Si Li to put in his trump card.

"However, Uncle Mo, I can help you on one condition" Si Li finally started to put his card.

Mo Jun's eyes lit up "What condition?"

Mo Jinnan and Lu Lan narrowed their eyes and curiosity was seen on their faces and they leaned forward to listen to every word, Si Li was saying carefully.

"I want you to agree with Mo Jinnan and Miss Song's marriage" Si Li finally put his card.

Mo Jinnan was taken aback when he heard Si Li utter those words. He never expected that ruthless and cold Si Li would be agreed to suffer losses only for the happiness of his friend.

It was the first time Mo Jinnan had encountered this side of Si Li. Maybe it was Lu Lan's influence on him? Even Lu Lan was shocked after hearing Si Li. Mo Jun finally understood it was a trap set up by Si Li.

"Xiao Li, it's our personal matter don't cross the line between personal and Professional life" Mo Jun warned him.

"It's your son's life stop interfering in it!" Si Li retorted at him.

"That girl doesn't deserve him. He needs someone with a strong background who is able to protect him" Mo Jun said in a high voice.

"That doesn't matter when it comes to love" Si Li said in a firm voice.

"Of course it matters I don't want the past to repeat itself!" Mo Jun roared.

"Dad…" Mo Jinnan immediately stood up and stop his father from saying anything. All of a sudden the environment inside the office became thick with tension.

"Si Li, stop it. I will handle it on my own. I don't need your help!" Mo Jinnan said.

"No…. I won't stop" Si Li rejected Mo Jinnan.

Si Li looked at Mo Jun and gave him an ultimatum "Uncle Mo you can decide, the partnership between our companies or your stubbornness against Mo Jinnan and Miss Song's marriage".

"You are crossing the line Xiao Li!" Mo Jun shouted.

"Your decision!" Si Li said in a high voice.

Both Si Li and Mo Jun were looking into each other's eyes as if no one wanted to admit defeat. Lu Lan clenched Si Li's arm as if she wanted him to stop. Mo Jinnan sighed helplessly as he could not stop either his friend nor his father at this point.

There was a silence in the room and the environment still heated up, the entire room was suffocating and intense. No one uttered a single word, the only sound that could be heard of the tense breath of each person in the room.

Mo Jun closed his eyes to control his anger, he couldn't lose the partnership of Si Corporation and Mo Corporation, as it was a downfall for his company. Losing the partnership with Si Corporation meant the shutdown of Mo Corporation.

Mo Corporation stood up after Mo Jun had put his blood and sweat and sacrificed his other dreams and his precious time with his wife and family. Mo Jun had regretted putting his trust in those Fangs. If he didn't trust them as their family members, he wouldn't be in this situation. He still couldn't agree with Si Li's condition either. It would be as if he allowed his son to lose his life.
