The Multiverse Traveller

*WARNING* *WARNING* Firstly let me get this out of the way. I've already dropped 2 other fanfictions so please don't expect much. If people who have read my other works read this as well, I am deeply sorry if I drop this cause it shows I haven't learned my lesson. Apart from that, there will be no/NADA/ZERO R-18 nor Harem content in this novel there is already enough of that on this site so I don't think you need it again. Apart from that for now I am stockpiling chapters so release rate won't be regular. BE WARNED. Every 5 billion years a tournament was held, a tournament to bring rise to a Great God. The existence of such a being could bring a race to prosperity while the loss of one could bring it to its knees. Humanity had been losing for many many many years. This was already their 629th loss when they picked Jin, the man who would be their champion who they put all their hopes on. "I may die at the Grand Races Tournament but before that, I'll try my hardest, not just for myself but for all of humanity." That was his resolution that led him to the top.

Chapter 41 Spar

"What do you want?" Sengoku asked irritatedly as his forehead creased. "I want to cash in my first favor. I want 3 devil fruits, of high quality, one zoan, one logia, and one paramecia. If they're not satisfactory I'll cut a finger off one of the dragons." Jin replied as Sengoku's eyes filled with rage.

"You want what!?!? Three devil fruits for one favor!" Sengoku said in rage as he slammed his fist on his desk. "Oh, I am sorry. The celestial dragons must be worth much more than that, make it 6 devil fruits, if I am still offending them then make it 9." Jin replied.

"If not, I don't mind cutting off Saint Charlos' finger and feeding it to the dogs." Jin continued as Sengoku grew even more enraged. "And I want them ready by tomorrow." Jin finished before hanging up the den den mushi.

"YOU SCUM!!" Sengoku said as he slammed his desk so hard it split in two and the floor underneath cracked. "I don't see why we don't just eradicate them by force, the celestial dragon aren't our responsibility." A man in a crimson double breasted suit said.

"Believe me, Sakazuki if I could I'd leave them there, but this is an order from up above." Sengoku said as he settled down. "Hmph, whatever, the execution is set up and everything is ready." Sakazuki replied.

"Good, then we'll proceed as planned, the execution will begin in 3 days." Sengoku said. "You may leave if that is all, and oh, may you call someone to clear up this mess?" Sengoku asked. "...Sure, I'll be taking my leave then." Sakazuki answered before leaving the room.

While this happened Hermes entered Jin's room. "You told Bartholomew Kuma what to do?" Jin asked as he played with the pen on his desk. "Yes, he's moved into action." Hermes replied. "Good you can leave now if you want." Jin replied.

"Then I am going to survey the docks." Hermes said as another warp gate opened. "You know you don't need to be so hard working, right?" Jin said as Hermes entered the warp gate. "I know, but if an admiral arrives and you're out, I am dead along with everyone else." Hermes said as he disappeared and the warp gate closed.

"Well at least I picked right." Jin said to himself as he gazed outside. After their conversation yesterday Jin and Izuku have yet to speak again, and Izuku has been continuously training his haki. 'I guess it worked out.' Jin thought as everything seemed to be going smoothly.

That was until a Yakuza came into his room. "Boss we have a situation." He said as he hurriedly entered. "What's the problem?" Jin asked as he got up. "It's Eri, come with me." The Yakuza said as he locked eyes with Jin. "Okay let's go." Jin said as the Yakuza turned around and he began to follow him.

"I want you away from my spot." Eri said as she pointed at Kai. "Look I've been sitting here for the past hour, find another spot." Kai responded with. "But it's my spot." Eri said as her expression soured.

"Tch, go away." Kai replied with as he began to ignore her. "What's going on here?" Jin asked as he arrived. "Bird brain won't get away from my spot Jin." Eri said as she pointed Kai. Hearing this Jin looked at Kai with a shame on you face.

Seeing this Kai didn't know what to say. "Dude, get up it's her spot, and aren't you the grown up in this situation?" Jin said as Kai shook his head. "Fine take the spot, spoiled brat." Kai said as he got up and walked away.

"Here, good now?" Jin said as Eri nodded. "Thanks." She said before sitting down at her spot. 'Hahaha, take that silly bird brain, that's for all the bullying in the past.' Eri thought as she was satisfied with herself.

Seeing this Jin nodded, and left towards Kai walked off to. Soon he caught up and grabbed his shoulder. "I hope you understand why I told you to leave from her spot." Jin said as Kai turned to gaze at him.

"Tch, I don't care, just get your hands off me." Kai said as Jin removed his hand. "Okay, anyway how's training going?" Jin asked in curiousity. "Well for me my haki is improving at a stable rate, while the Yakuza are making good progress, they're battle ready now. Izuku on the other hand, is training like there's no tomorrow, I have to frequently overhaul him." Kai explained as Jin nodded.

"Good to hear, well anyway, wanna spar? No quirks, just haki and physical ability?" Jin asked as Kai thought about it for a bit. "....Fine, I have nothing to lose anyway." Kai said as he walked away a bit before turning around.

"This should be a good distance." Kai said as he locked eyes with Jin. "Ya it is." Jin replied as he got into a fighting stance. 'Currently our physiques are both Stage 1 Peak after Rayleigh's hellish training. Apart from that his Buso haki is Stage 2 Mid and his Ken is Stage 2 High, while my haki is the inverse of that.' Jin thought as Kai began to count down. Jin obviously knew this information due to his Inspect ability he had gained when entering the One Piece world.

"1" Kai said as they both shot towards each other at extreme speeds. As they dashed towards each other Jin's fists were both coated in haki as a black luster encompassed them, while on Kai's fists an invisible layer of haki encompassed his fists.

As they met in the middle Jin's fist shot out going towards Kai's chest. Kai simply moved to the side though dodging and sweeping his leg downward towards Jin's ankle hitting it. Due to this Jin faltered and Kai got behind him ready to elbow him in the back, when Jin kicked his leg back scraping past Kai's abdomen as he moved to the side.

"Pua!"

Kai spat out as they locked gazes. Seeing Kai's moment of weakness, Jin charged in and sent a flurry of punches his way, which Kai dodged as best he could. Eventually Kai began to grow tired as Jin never stopped his punches. Little did he know, Jin was also burning out.

As Kai felt like he had his last bit of energy left, he dodged once of Jin's punches before charging in with his fist close by him. Seeing this Jin's eyes turned cold as he stepped back and kicked out his right leg clashing with Kai's fist.

"BOOM!"

This collision caused a shockwave to echo as blood leaked from both their lips. As the battle ended, Jin lowered his foot, while Kai retracted his fist beforing taking off his glove and overhauling himself and then Jin.

"It's your win." Kai said before walking off. "Good game." Jin said before also walking towards the compound. Once inside, Jin went to the kitchen, and asked the Yakuza on kitchen duty to prepare him some food.

After waiting for a while they served him some food and Jin began to reminisce. 'Man, it feels like yesterday when this all began but it's practically been a year now, how much time has passed, how much memories I've made.' Jin thought as he ate the meat in front of him.

'I just hope, that in the end, I picked wisely and I won't fail.' Jin continued as he drank some water. All this time, as Jin went along fighting, making allies, and gaining powers, he was constantly second guessing himself, never sure whether he'd fail or win.

'Every move I've taken, every step I've took, every breath I've breathed, has all been based on gamble after gamble. When I arrived gaining OFA was a gamble, then staying at Izuku's, the U.S.J as well where luckily Izuku didn't die, meeting Kai, and taking care of Eri. This has all been placed on one big gamble, but none of them can compare to this gamble.' Jin thought as he looked downward.

He'd have to fight the 3 Admiral, the Fleet Admiral Sengoku, Marine Hero Monkey D. Garp, the 5 Elders, and the entire World Government. 'Any one of them could match me at this point, if all of them attacked me at once, I'd be dead no questions.' Jin thought as he clenched his fists.

'Regardless, I can't help but be excited, because only when something is on the line, is something truly worth it.' Jin thought as a grin was plastered on his face. "Regardless though, I can't and won't be dying here. That I know for a fact." Jin mumbled as he finished his food. "After all I still need to participate, don't I?" He said as he got up and left the eating area.
