THE MULTIVERSE: GAMER PATH

These are the thoughts of many normal Joes lost in the Multiverse whether it was intentional or not. Such a story for our protagonist accidentally wandering too far off from his home reality. Yet... it seems that Mash Bastion has met the right man to assist him with the tools needed to travel the Multiverse to find his home universe with modified abilities of [THE GAMER] across worlds in the unforgiving territories of the MULTIVERSE.

Chapter 223: Arifureta (3)

Chapter 223: Arifureta (3)

~Mash B. POV~

[Tortus, Great Orcus Labyrinth, UF 65]

Making my way through the Labyrinth was a piece of cake with my Demon Beast by my side. I did kill a few things here while I was down further than most probably would in a day.

But I finally reached the Upper Floor 65 of the Orcus dungeon. The one where Hajime, the protagonist, falls into a trap being pushed by his former bully Hiyama into a huge cliff face running down from the 65th to the 100th floor.

Hajime however survived and underwent a hellish ordeal, a crucible that forged him into a survivor. Now I stand before the same trap as the people in the story.

In Arifureta, the trap was activated by touching a glowing crystal on the walls. The problem was that it didn't mention which one. Fortunately, I used [TOOS] to find the correct one without wasting time.

I triggered the trap and from there it was as simple as jumping off the cliff and into the abyss where I finally reached the 100th floor. Or as it was later found out the first true floor of the Orcus dungeon.

Before the dungeon monsters were weak and low-level with a few skills and magical abilities if any at all. But from here on they'd get powerful and tricky. Or so it was for others but for me though this will be a cakewalk.

And at the end was a grand prize. The Ancient Magic, Creation! But that was far away from now.

*Thud*

Landing down using my [Power of Darkness] to lessen my fall I searched the area using my [Unseen Hands] till I found the unique item of this world. The Divinity Stone with limitless Ambrosia. [TOOS].

----

Item: Divinity Stone

Rarity Item: SSS

Type: Rare Ore

Description: Divinity Stones are crystals that emit a pale blue light. They are formed when large clumps of mana pools come together and crystallize over 1,000 years. Then, after several centuries, the saturated mana is liquefied and secreted as a potent healing elixir called Ambrosia.

Although most Divinity Stones are formed naturally, they can also be artificially created by a person or persons that possess an extremely large quantity of mana, and pool it over an extended period. Though not nearly if the time it takes for them to form naturally. However, this one seems to contain limitless Ambrosia.

----

Heh. This item is worth keeping in my [Gate of Babylon]. Tossing it inside worthy with my treasures saving it for a later date on what to do with it. In the story, this cheeky item brought Hajime back from the brink of death and kept him alive for days with only drops of it being consumed by him. It was THAT overpowered, to say the least.

Of course, it still had its weaknesses. It couldn't regrow lost limbs or revive someone. It also couldn't provide any nutrients to the body or dull pain it's the final boss of mana crystals.

It was one of the things I had come here for, the other 3 being the fantastical metal found in the Orcus dungeon, the flesh of the magical beasts that I planned to use to enhance myself and find that immortal vampire to save.

Having sent my [Unseen Hands] phasing through the floors collecting all the ores it can into my treasury of [Gate of Babylon] and took the already forming shallow puddle of the elixir. I can't waste any drop mind you.

Sadly, there wasn't any more to be found any longer. Shame could have taken a lot of items from here, but you can't win them all I suppose. Welp time to continue the grind further down the line.

[LEVEL UP!]

Shooting a rainbow ray of light from my finger I laughed amused at the levels I've been gaining going through the dungeon in a cheerful tone, "I should go ahead and do these Dungeon raids sometime with the others."

Koketsu spoke rolling her eyes as she said in a stoic tone of the level level-ups I've been gaining, "I'm sure the whole ecosystem would agree with them being used as EXP for you Master. If only PETA was here, then it would be a whole other issue."

I simply rolled my eyes. Still going on this trip has helped increase my levels taking care of the monsters and steamrolling anything in my way as I continue moving forward.

Status.

Jumped straight into 20 levels reaching the 80th floor of this dungeon. The enemies weren't bad either almost to Ryuko and Satsuki levels to boot in this short time speed running my way here.

Still arriving before an ornate door after going through some killer monsters I shudder to think how many times I would have died if it hadn't been for my skills saving my asses on multiple occasions.

Thank God for my defensive skills and the Dragon Emperor's abilities pulling me through in a pinch. Did not want to die too soon thank you very much.

It honestly made me respect the original protagonist for running this gauntlet alone and without this level of protection. He survived this shit and made a life for himself with his seat and blood. That's admirable.

Unfortunately for him, I'm stealing his cheat and vampire waifu. Shame he'll die this time or get summoned a solid year later since the summoning needed one year for activation which was the downside of the spell.

For now, I returned my gaze to the huge ornate door in the middle of the room. On its sides stood two statues of muscular, chiseled cyclopes. From the story, I knew they were monsters hiding in plain sight and immediately turned their heads into donuts using my Authority of Lust, [Faker] before pushing the door open.

*THUD*

Inside was a vast chamber with a tall, vaulted ceiling and ornately carved walls. Though in the dark I had my [Enhanced SEN] to see through the darkness. I also know that there was supposed to be a scorpion monster up there but surprisingly, there was no monster up there.

The maker went extra on this, didn't he? Gotta appreciate the looks and effort.

I smiled appreciating the work before my gaze fell upon the 3-meter-high cube in the center of the room and on its sole occupant, sealed within the cube. A young naked girl, buried halfway into the crimson, black cube as if she had been melded with it.

The cube was a sealstone, a magical material that absorbed and blocked magic, made specifically to trap this little girl. By her uncle another dungeon conqueror. [TOOS].

[Aletia Galdea Vesperitio Avatarl Lv.80 Queen of Avatarl]

Yup. Aletia Galdea Vesperitio Avatarl, is an Atavist vampire with the unique skill to regenerate her body. She was once a princess and later queen until she was imprisoned in the abyss after her uncle and vassals betrayed her and sealed her away but later revealed the truth as they were protecting her from Ehit because of her monstrous level of magic and regeneration. She is supposed to be Hajime's main lover and first wife after freeing her… sad for him.

The reason why Ehit guy wants her is because of her [Automatic Regeneration] ability which is a pretty OP skill all around. Yue's signature special magic, which manifested at the age of 12.

It automatically regenerates any injuries or lost body parts and prevents aging and death. If Yue has any mana left, she will not die unless she is instantly disintegrated. Conversely, any injuries she suffers while her mana is depleted would not readily heal.

But that's not all. Despite being a Vampire she's also a genius magic user and has a natural affinity for all elements. And most importantly, she was loyal. Like EXTREMELY loyal to a yandere to a fault for whoever saves this very old…

Is Loli even the right term though? She's like fucking old chronically age-wise but then again so are the horndogs that want to fuck Grandma Tsunade from Naruto. Man… some people are freaks.

*Tmp*

The sounds of my footsteps woke her from her slumber Her eyes widened in surprise and I could see tears starting to gather in the corners of her eyes as she asked her voice hoarse and torn, "Is… is someone t-there?"

Waving my hand I dematerialized my Demon Beast for the time being as I spoke in a neutral tone identifying myself, "Yeah. What about it?"

Eyeing she soon begged to want to get out of the sealstone in a desperate tone, "I-i… please save me! Please. I'll do anything!"

Being cautious though I moved forward slowly asking the obvious, "Why?"

When I asked, I made her remember why she was here in the first place. She soon responded in a hoarse tone, "Why? I – I-I… I was betrayed."

I stopped as I gazed at her not detecting any stench on her. Noticing the vents from above there was a bit of a chill meaning fresh air does get vented in and out as I replied, "Okay, you were betrayed. And whoever did the betraying felt the need to lock you up way down here. Care to explain why that is? This place is no joke."

She began to explain to me about her story as I already knew. Bit of a dick move but I took my time analyzing the sealstone she was stuck inside as I bluntly said making her freeze in her tracks, "Yeah you can stop now. I know. That you were betrayed Aletia Avatarl and I by happen stance came to free you. And I'm not from your uncle's Kingdom."

Her eyes went wide-eyed as she looked up at me and asked confounded, "Then why?"

I replied with a light shrug responding childishly gazing at her prison, "Why not? Hold up one sec…"

And there. Using [Delete Space] I swapped her out with the empty one easily enough.

Grabbing a large enough towel from my [GoB], I wrapped it around her I couldn't help but admit the mental fortitude of her mental stability able to withstand this much isolation for this long. I knew that if I were in her position, I would have long lost my marbles.

Although, I also knew I could never get into a situation like that as I couldn't help but chuckle at the predicament crudely, "Heh. Talk about kinky time gone bad. Your naked still so…"

Aletia shouted with a light blush on her yelling at me hiding herself in an embarrassed tone, "Pervert! It's not what you think! And don't look!"

I gave her a deadpan expression as I replied in a dry tone to her words, "Yeah… like I would be even a bit interested in the body of a child."

The female mind was truly a mystery, as my words seemed to both relax and annoyance that I didn't see her as a woman. To be fair though it's not her fault she was born this way blame the actual antagonist of this world God.

But my eyes finally found the giant guardian of this room, a scorpion artificially created by her uncle. Smirking at the beast about to activate [Unseen Hands] touching the beast as it descended downward.

Upon activating my Authority of Wrath, [Restoration] reverted its history when it was merely a bucket of mana bolts disintegrating into nothingness later. Shame I can't do this to all my foes since it doesn't earn me EXP.

The loli vampire screamed in fright, her eyes wide as saucers as the gigantic beast was turned into literally nothing in its history. I couldn't help but shake my head and asked out loud in a curious tone, "During your 300 years of imprisonment, had you not once looked up? Did you not know you had a roommate?"

She immediately shook her head as she soon asked the question I'd been dying to hear from her in a confused tone, "No. No, I didn't… but who are you?"

Clasping my hands together while I took the sealstone prison into my [GoB] I explained my convoluted explanation in an excited tone, "You see I'm an interdimensional traveler… came here on my own volition to mess with that wanna-be God! And learn the Ancient Magic to find my original home."

She asked believing my story with her gentle eyes quivering, "Really?"

I nodded my head with a grin on my face as I brought out a set of clothes for her from my [GoB] in a confident tone, "But of course. However, for that, I need to learn and gain the power to find my original home. And at times help others if the need arises like you miss by chance. But do you want me to give you a new name or would you rather have Aletia your old one?"

She scowled as she exclaimed in a displeasure tone, her eyes going glossy, telling a tale of pain and betrayal, "Don't call me that! I let go of that identity the moment they betrayed me. I don't want to remember. You can give me a new name mister…"

Ah right. Bad manners it seems from my end. I extended a hand as I greeted myself and a new ally in a cheerful tone, "Ah right where are my manners? I never introduced myself, have I? Ahem! I'm Mash Bastion a pleasure to meet you, Yue."

She smiled as I saw the name changed fitting her name. [TOOS].

[Yue Lv.80 Queen of Avatarl]

Seeing this guess, I got another vampire girl following me again. Great…
