“Yeah, but let’s not get into that. Back to Lucinda’s case, I don’t want to assume anything until I have gotten the opportunity to study her house. Is there any possible way I can do that? I’m sure the police won’t like it if I poke around at a crime scene.”
“According to Mag, one of the policemen apparently used to work in the supernatural division for the FBI. Maybe we can make a special request through him,” Darwin suggested.
Endymion shrugged. “It’s worth a shot. We have to do it as soon as possible, though.”
Kellan’s expression darkened. “Are you implying there will be more such cases in the future?”
“It’s almost All Hallows’ Eve. We have one more week.”
Darwin seemed bewildered now. “Are you referring to Halloween? What does that have to do with anything?”
