Chapter 7

Sinnoh region

"How much longer do you think we'll be here?" Beast Boy asks lounging on the sofa in their living room. Thanks to Dawn who apparently had some pretty beefy connections, they were now living in what was basically a replica of the Titans Tower, and they basically did what they did back in Jump City.

"It's rather joyous. I don't I would mind staying a little longer." Starfire adds.

"No clue. I've been talking with some guy named Polaris and he may be able to help us reopen a portal back to our world." Cyborg says as he begins munching on a pizza.

"REALLY!?" Both Starfire and Beast Boy ask excitedly.

"Yeah. It's nothing concrete, but he did say he used to take him and his family to Gotham." Cyborg replies.

"Gotham? Who does he know from Gotham?" Beast Boy asks dumbfoundedly.

"Like Robin's Gotham?" Starfire asks, now more hopeful than excited.

"No clue. Apparently, it takes a massive amount of power to open portals to other universes and almost triple to go to an exact one." Cyborg explains.

"Ooh." She replies dejectedly.

"Whatchu think Rache?" Beast Boy asks looking over at Raven who was meditating and then she frowns. "What's wrong mama?"

"Something's wrong (six minutes), I can feel it (six minutes). It's just (the portal) a feelin' I've got (open) Like somethin''s about to happen (open). But I don't know what (six minutes, for six-). She says as something in her mind keeps bringing up six minutes and a portal. "If that means what I think it means (six minutes, portal, will open). We're in trouble, big trouble (open)... And if it is as bad as I think (open). I'm not takin' any chances."

They watch as she gets up and walks out of the living room. Starfire and Cyborg look over at Beast Boy who can only shrug just as confused.

Gotham

"It's done Bruce."

"Thanks, Kent. I really owe you one." Bruce says as a portal begins to form.

"Are you sure about this? I've never connected entire universes before. Multiverses sure. But this is a whole other league. I can't guarantee you'll make it completely through." Kent asks. At first, he thought Bruce just wanted to visit one of the other Earths but he was trying to open a different realm entirely.

"It'll be fine. I wouldn't have asked you if I doubted your abilities." Bruce answers as he climbs into the Batjet.

"Very well. I will open the portal again in 3 months." Kent says as the portal fully forms. It shimmered like a mirrory bubble.

"Thanks. See you then." The cockpit slides closed with a hiss and soon the engines flare, the jet rises, and then blasts into the portal.

Arkham Asylum Cementary

"Ohoho. What is this?" Joker asks himself as he looks at his hands.

GRRRRM

He cackles as he sees the strangest character he has ever seen. It had six legs, golden horns on its head, and five red stripes on its neck with four black stripes. It was the most outlandish thing he had ever saw and that was saying a lot for him. "Is this a new realm of Hell? Was I too much down there HAHAHA?" He laughs but abruptly stops as the creature disappears into a now-familiar object.

A wicked smile crosses his lips as he looks across the empty graveyard and at the hole he quite literally crawled out of. "Oh my. I can't wait to see you again my dear. HAHAHAHahaha..." He says laughing as he enters the portal.

Kanto Region above Mt. Moon

"Nightwing sir. We've just detected two atmospheric anomalies. One above Fuschia City and the other one... in Veilstone City, Sinnoh?" One of his radar engineers informs him questioningly as the second location seems odd.

"Sinnoh? We'll leave that to Polaris. We got bigger fish to fry here. Send a reconnaissance squad to investigate Fuschia City."

BADUMP

Just as he finished giving orders he felt a sharp pain in his chest and he immediately grabbed his heart and propped himself up on the dash. There was a flash of darkness and the next thing he knew he was standing in front of a familiar Pokemon.

"Arceus. It's been a while. I take it that means it's time for me to choose huh?"

The silver/grey centaur-like Pokemon nodded. Dick covered his eyes with his hand and rubs them.

"So it's either disappear into the void of this world or revive from the dead and suffer a fate worse than that huh?"

The Pokemon nods again.

"Huuuuh." He sighs, but then that smile crosses his mind. The smile that he had been craving for so long. The damn smile that was worth losing his soul. "Alright. But can you seal my knowledge of the powers and make it to where they will only unlock once I near death or receive an injury that would cause instant death? I don't want to go through life knowing I can't be killed.

Arceus tilts his head to the right as if in contemplation. "Very well. Humans are intricate creatures so I will accept your request. You will retain all of your memories and creations. The only thing you will lose is your powers and the memory of them until they are needed."

"Thank you." Dick says and Arceus merely nods and the flash of white light fades into the florescent white of an LED light of an unfamiliar room.

Beep, Beep, Beep

He groans as he looks over at the heart monitor. Harley really was doing her best to look over me huh?" He thinks to himself.

"Well, well. Sleeping beauty is finally awake huh?"

He looks over and sees a smiling Jinx propped up in the doorway.

"Well, well. Greeted by a beautiful woman on revival musta really died." He jokes back.

"Heh." She snorts. "Oh, before I forget. I meant to do it before, but thanks. For getting me out of the Hive I mean."

"No problem. Me and Cyborg have been looking for ways to get you out for a while." He replies.

"That so?" She asks twirling her with her right index finger. "Anyway. You should go see Harl. She has been worried sick. Oh, yeah. You also got a guest." She adds causing him to raise an eyebrow in confusion.

She helps disconnect him from the machines and out of bed. "Oh yeah, your clothes are over there by the way." She tells him while pointing over to a dresser.

"Thanks." He says and she turns around to let him dress.

Once he had completely changed over and got used to feeling his body again they head down to the kitchen to meet Harley and his "guest". As they enter the kitchen, he can only smile at the how beautiful Harley was now that she isn't playing around as a psychopath. There's a soft clatter as his staff hits the floor and his smile immediately vanishes as he sees the person she was talking to.
