Finally

It was his fiftieth try to open up a portal to a specific planet but once again, he opened up a portal on a random asteroid.

It had been a few weeks since he had taken asylum at the President's safe house and many people had come to meet him a few times.

"Master, If you tell me, I can help. We have the real-time location feed of every planet of this solar system, and even of others like Kepler System, exotic planets and stars at the periphery of the system.

Please, tell me." came Veronica's voice who was reflecting the hacked files from NASA and the ISS with the orbital satellites of earth, mars, even Uranus.

"What I want, is not on NASA." Replied Charles as he smiled at her hologram and went to eat his dinner.

Sure he doesn't need to eat, but he was used to his lavish lifestyle from his previous life. He liked to just sit back and relax while he enjoys the hard work of others.

After eating dinner and taking a bath, Charles again came to the basement and his Vibranium Sling ring got instantly powered by the Dark dimension and he started glowing purple.

Charles has started to like this unlimited magical energy from the Dark dimension and he had started to learn and control more and more energy to his use.

He once again started making a portal and this time, when the Portal opened, a very hot flair could be seen at the other side.

'Finally! Not the one I wanted, but, It is a step forward.' Thought Charles as he stepped into the portal unfazed.

All of Charles's clothes and the Hexagonal spectacles he was wearing literally melted from the heat, but soon, The Vibranium nanobots which fell from his pocket climbed up his legs and became his 3-Piece Black Suit and his glasses.

"This is all the Vibranium we have left, Master." Reminded Veronica while she started scanning this irregular planet that they had just arrived on through Charles's glasses.

"The air density, toxicity, and the heat waves are at the level at which any normal human would suffocate and die due to burn damage at the same time."

Veronica started showing numbers and graphs on Charles's glasses while a protective transparent Vibranium shield appeared all around him, just like the one protecting Wakanda.

"Master, Have you come here to train your body?" She asked as she looked at the mountains and mountains of Volcanos continuously pour out lava and the lakes and rivers of lava just flowing for as far as the eyes could see.

"No, The strengthening of my body will be an indirect benefit. My main reason for coming here is something else." Charles said as he smiled and started to look around.

"Master, Can you tell me the name of this planet? I need to record, right?" Asked Veronica with a little fear of angering Charles.

She knew that Charles knew more than everyone on earth. He knew the future, he knew the past, he knows what was happening around the world. I mean, According to her observation of Charles, She felt that way.

The more her immature mind thought about it, the more she believed in Charles being some kind of divinity stuck on earth, trying to get back to his former glory.

Since she had learned the entire internet, from the novels and comics of the world to the business ledgers of the Wall Street. She was having all sorts of predictions about Charles and was a little fearful and greatly obsessed with him.

Touching the igneous rock beneath his feet, Charles noticed his hands going slightly red before coming back to their normal colour.

Charles more or less completely ignored Veronica's question and started exploring this barren land of fire and darkness, since there was no Sun in this world and the only source of light was from the massive amounts of Red Lava that was flowing all around him.

"Go and scan this place for up to 500 miles and come back with a detailed map."

Suddenly, at his orders, Charles's glasses turned into 4 small drones with nano repulsors, which all then took off in opposite directions from each other.

Charles crouched down on the black rock he was standing on and suddenly struck a fierce punch on the ground, which crushed a small chunk of where his fist landed and cracks started appearing all around him.

He took some samples of the Rock and started to study their structure.

It had been an hour before all the bots finally came back and became his Hexagonal Spectacles and a large map of the planet appeared on his glasses.

"Master, this blue dot is you in the center, and we have explored everything in the 500 miles of radius."

"Good. Title this map" Charles said as he zoomed at a peculiar mountain to the north in the map with a smile.

"What title should I give it, Master" Asked Veronica loyally.

"Muspelheim"

Charles was in Appledore and was studying the rock samples he had collected from Muspelheim. It would take him less than a second to go back to the Presidential Safehouse in DC anyway.

"I need more Vibranium. What is the situation with S.H.I.E.L.D and Tony with Wakanda?"

"Master, The King T'Chaka has started a hunt for Erik Killmonger, who he calls N'Jadaka while the S.H.I.E.L.D calls him Erik Stevens according to his previous records with Navy SEALS, Interpol, and the CIA.

Both S.H.I.E.LD and Wakanda are searching for him and if S.H.I.E.L.D finds him first, T'Chaka might make some sort of treaty with the S.H.I.E.L.D to give some amount of RAW unprocessed Vibranium but if the Wakanda finds him first, then the S.H.I.E.L.D will get nothing."

Charles was thinking something while looking at all the audiovisual recordings playing around him of Nick Fury and T'Chaka's meeting by the nanobots which he planted at just about everywhere in the S.H.I.E.L.D.

"Master, Maria Hill is calling again"

"Okay, answer the call"

"Augustus! Where are you!? Are you all right? I have tried reaching you but some secretory of yours picks up and tells me you are busy! The President is not allowing me to meet you either and I am very worried about you!" came a panicked voice of Maria from the other side.

"Relax Maria. I was injured and was going through some procedures, that's why I couldn't take your call. I am sorry. But don't worry, As I will be back in New York in a couple of months. We'll meet once I reach there."

Maria was tensed! She was overstressed by thinking about Charles's situation while she was also Overworked from S.H.I.E.L.D.

They had to clean and research the alien carcass, weapons and debris, they had to hunt down one Mercenary by hiding it from the Hydra present in S.H.I.E.L.D, they had to follow all those Hydra agents and keep an eye on them so that they could lead them to the secret Hydra facilities around America. They also had to search for the sceptre and keep digging around for anything related to Wakanda.

Her stress levels were off the chart and Charles slowly and lovingly calmed her down and assured her about his well-being.

After she was sure that he was well, Maria finally disconnected the call.

During the time Charles was talking with Maria, he was also studying the rock samples from Muspelheim and as soon as she disconnected the call, he completely figured out its composition.

"What is this Master? It sort of looks like a dead microorganism! Is it a fossil? But who could survive in that world?"

"Fire Demons, under the rule of Surtur, of course"

Veronica was surprised. Did the Demons really exist? Weren't they just the imagination of the comic authors?

'If the Master is saying it, it must be true!'

"Okay, time to find the realm I was actually looking for" Suddenly said Charles as he left the study of the fossil in detail to Veronica and went back to the Presidential Safehouse, took the food which was delivered at the front doors and went back to the basement.

Charles stayed again for a month there, opening random portals in the universe.

His ability to use the magic from the Dark Dimension was completely broken! The whispers of the Dark Dimension could neither take control over him nor corrupt him and he continued to use this magic power until finally, he opened a portal where he wanted to open for so long.

"Finally" Charles said while looking at the portal with a maddening smile which Veronica was scared to see.

"Veronica, as soon as I step inside of the portal, quickly start scanning the surroundings and present me a map of the area."

After giving his orders, Charles, while wearing his Vibranium Nanobots as a suit and glasses, stepped inside of the Portal.

If Muspelheim was a place of fire and darkness, then Niflheim was a place of screams, Ice and Darkness.

The ice here was not bone-chilling, but soul-chilling.

Everywhere you could see, the screams of souls could be heard and Veronica didn't waste any time in sending out the bots to scan the map.

Charles was looking at the souls which were marching towards a big gate in the center while many souls of different creatures were wailing and lurking in the darkness, hiding from something.

"This is exactly as I imagined." He said with emotion as he tasted the chill in the air.

"Master, anything more than 20 miles cannot be scanned. The signal starts to randomly disrupt even if we keep changing the frequency. There is something about this place which is beyond any mathematical calculation."

"Yes...I know.." Said Charles as he touched a soul drifting nearby and the soul quickly dispersed to nothingness. As if the soul was tangible and was already close to vanishing and Charles's touch gave it a last push.

Veronica wanted to ask the name of this planet from Charles but she just couldn't find the courage to disturb him.

She had although calculated where this planet should be and it was also out of their home galaxy.

'It looks like this is also not anywhere near to the Milky way, just like Muspelheim.' she concluded while checking the known data of the galaxies around the Milky Way.

Charles started walking ahead of the souls which were marching towards a giant gate visible from the horizon of the planet.

Excitedly, Charles started to walk towards the gate and all the souls that came in contact with him vanished into thin air and the more he walked towards the gate, the more whispers he started to hear.

There was a kind of suppression on his soul which was not easy to explain but when he was just 10 steps away from the gate, he saw it.

He saw the gate, he saw the long bridge over the terrifying abyss.

"Marvelous. Truly a beautiful creation" Breathed Charles as his soul was shaking quite fiercely!

If he was not a wizard and didn't use the spells to calm down his souls and astral projections, he might've lost himself just after arriving here.

"Veronica, Title the discovered Map as 'Niflheim'. And beyond this gate, title the place as Hel, short for Helheim."

"Yes Master." Veronica said as she looked at her master, who behaved as if he had found a treasure.

.

.

Deep inside of Hel, there was a cave with many markings over it. It was as if some powerful entity sealed off this place, and the different species of Hel-walkers, Ogres, Trolls and Nightmares which used to run rampantly in Hel would not even dare to come close to it.

The cave was so isolated that no one would even come near it for hundreds and hundreds of miles and a very eerie feeling of death was emanating from the cave.

Inside the cave, A woman, who could just be the most beautiful creation of the gods in this world was bound with golden chains with runes on them when she suddenly opened her eyes and a very enchanting smile came upon her lips.

"Who are you….to have come to my realm..? A fool...or...Well, the entirety of Nine Realms is mine. So it doesn't even matter...hehehe" Her each word felt like a scythe of Death upon one's soul and her laugh gave off a Mist of Presage.

Heimdall was an all-seeing and all-hearing Asgardian who could see and listen to nearly everything which was happening in the nine realms.

But he was still not Omniscient. He could see and hear everything if he wanted to see, most of the time, his main focus was on Asgard's security, and on Niflheim.

Even when he was devoting most of his powers to Asgard, the Dark Elves, especially Malekith easily shrouded his all-seeing and all-hearing ability to attack Asgard.

This proved that contrary to popular belief of Fandral and every other Asgardian, not only his ability was weak against Dark Elves who used Dark Magic, but was also not able to perceive an intrusion by several Frost Giants from Jotunheim when they broke into Odin's Vault in an attempt to reclaim the Casket of Ancient Winters.

Charles knew this since the day he came to this world that his every action could be perceived by Heimdall and so, one of the reasons for learning Sorcery was to use it to try and shroud his Senses.

He had learned almost all of the Dark arts present in the library of Kamar Taj, and according to his own calculations, he concluded that since according to string theory, and practical experience, there were an unlimited number of parallel dimensions, Heimdall can't sense them all.

His senses were only limited to the nine realms, which were Asgard, Midgard, Jotunheim, Svartalfheim, Vanaheim, Nidavellir, Niflheim, Muspelheim and Alheim.

Anything beyond these nine planets were beyond Heimdall and even in these 9 planets, he was not able to sense everything, proven by the multiple intrusions in Asgard by the Frost Giants and Dark Elves.

So theoretically, if he creates a mirror dimension in the Niflheim, he could easily explore the planet without worrying about the attacks of Hel's inhabitant, as well as he would be unseen by Heimdall since he won't be able to see anything in a Mirror dimension because it was beyond the Nine Realms.

.

.

.

Heimdall was sitting in Himinbjorg, seeing the nine realms and its inhabitant when suddenly he felt something enter the Niflheim.

He instantly became alert and tried to sense everything in the Niflheim again but he couldn't find anything out of place.

.

.

Charles was in a mirror world of Niflheim where finally the pressure on his soul was lifted and also he could see the entirety of the world without any of its inhabitants blocking it.

With a smile, he started to move towards the long and eerie bridge and Veronica was just flabbergasted by the sudden changes around this planet.

'Master really is a god' She thought as she looked at Charles walking on the bridge with a smile on his face.

Hela was not an amateure.

Since her birth, her only focus was power and death.

While girls her age used to fantasize about their prince charming, she was already killing armies after armies alongside her father Odin in the war against nine realms in a hope to conquer them.

From the beginning only, she learned all kinds of Magic, and even mastered the art of weapon manifestation from which she could make obsidian weapons, such as her Necrosword, powered by necro-energy which could easily destroy even Uru-Plated Armors.

Her heart never knew love, and never even attempted to. What for Anyways? She had powers beyond the imagination of every being and she and Odin were planning on conquering the entire Cosmos.

It was her alienation to emotions that she failed to see fear in Odin's trust when he sealed her in Hel.

Even after being sealed, Once a champion of the Nine Realms, The Goddess of Death can't be fooled by something as simple as Mirror Dimension.

This was her realm, Hela's Niflheim.

She could sense everything in it, even if it was in the Mirror dimension, and she smiled at seeing a Young Sorcerer from what seemed like Midgard cross the long bridge which leads straight to the core part of Niflheim, the Helheim.

Although she was chained and sealed by Odinforce, her powers were not something even Odin would underestimate and so she clearly felt that this peculiar human from Midgard was not exactly a human.

"Interesting, that you would try to break the shackles of your humanity and would try to ascend. But why would you come to Death? What is your purpose, Sorcerer?" Said Hela through her smile as she saw Charles continue to walk in Helheim unhindered and soon arrive outside the cave.

"Oh….So you came here for me?" Hela said in surprise as she saw Charles enter the cave.

.

.

'She must've sensed me already' Thought Charles as he went inside of the cave and faced an empty wall with Golden Chains hanging over it.

"Heimdall can't see me. If he could, Odin would've been alerted about the weakening of my seals a lot sooner and the Valkyries wouldn't have to die." Suddenly said Hela in a low voice after which Charles got out of the Mirror dimension, and the empty wall which was in front of him, soon had Hela chained to it.

"Beautiful" Said Charles while looking at Hela. It wasn't just the beauty of Hela which attracted him, it was the domain of death that shrouded her. It was as if she was the personification of Death herself, reaping the lives of people of the Nine Realms.

"That's a first. Usually people bow to me and run for their lives." Replied Hela with a hint of Arrogance.

Charles smiled.

He simply smiled and inhaled a deep breath.

The air around the cave had the scent of Hela and this scent was nightmare-inducing, but to Charles, this scent was intoxicating.

"What have you done all these years? After Odin sealed you?"

Suddenly, there was a terrible amount of force being exerted on Charles's soul and it felt like that his soul would get ripped apart but he still kept smiling.

"How would it benefit you? To kill me?"

Hela decreased her pressure on Charles's soul at this. Sure, she had been imprisoned here for several thousand years! Alone! She didn't know what had happened in the nine realms and neither what was happening.

"Speak Sorcerer, Why have you come here?"

"To see you, of course" Charles said as he took a step towards her.

"And why do you seek me?" She asked with interest.

"You know, The power of Asgardians has declined. Forget Cosmos, even in the Nine Realms, you are not the apex authority anymore. People of Midgard don't even know you."

Hela was stunned! What!? The war she fought for so long! Her Conquer of the nine realms! Her entire life would be meaningless because for all the thousands of years she has lived, she has only known war, and through that war, conquered the nine realms.

And now, this sorcerer tells her that people don't even know about Asgard?

"You have two younger brothers. One is Thor, to whom your father gifted your Mjolnir, and the other Loki, whom your father kidnapped from Jotunheim! He is actually the prince of Jotunheim.

Thor is the God of Thunder and Loki is the God of Mischief.

They both are as weak, as they are immature."

Charles projected the photos of Thor and Loki and their performance in the New York war.

"Chitauri…" Hela said as she identified the army.

"Loki could tame them!?" She asked with visible shock.

Since she was alive for many thousands of years, she knew about the Chitauris and knew that they were not tamable!

"No, They were tamed by someone who could kill you and the entirety of the cosmos with a snap of his fingers."

Charles said as he smiled.

"Who?"

"Can you teach me the art of weapon manifestation?" Suddenly asked Charles.

Hela immediately understood the motive of this sorcerer.

Her art was unique after all!

"But what would you give me in return? I can know all this when I break out from here. This information is worth nothing to me." Said Hela with a laugh.

"How about I give you Brunnhilde, the one Valkyrie who was saved by Odin before you could kill her for her trnasgressions? And how about I also steal the Mask of Surtur, who can destroy Asgard by merging with his mask, and kill you in the Ragnarok?" Said Charles so casually as if he was deciding on what to eat for dinner.

There was a pin-drop silence in the cave where Charles came close to Hela and sat beside her.

"Don't you fear me?" She asked as she turned to her left and looked at this peculiar sorcerer who was casually leaning on the wall beside her.

"You could kill me any second, even if I do escape this realm, I am still marked by your breath. And if you do kill me, now or in the future, your death is assured as well. Think about it, By the time Odin goes to OdinSleep, Thor would come to know about you from Odin and he will be ready with Surtur. You are the first person I have come to respect, don't force my hand." Said Charles as he looked Hela in the eye.

"Being Brave in front of death is nothing to be proud of" She said as Charles's body started to crack and his blood started to freeze.

"Feeling Pride in killing a weak wellwisher is nothing brave" He replied.

Suddenly, the pressure on Charles's body vanished and his body started to quickly heal his wounds.

This was Hela, who could destroy a vibranium with just her aura! The Goddes of Death!

Hela leaned on the wall beside Charles and started laughing. This Sorcerer was interesting and unique in every way. Maybe her boring days were finally behind her.

"So, How can you bring Brunnhilde here? I can allow you to open a portal directly here from anywhere but you should know one thing, Brunnhilde is puny to me, but she could rip your heart out."

"Then teach me all the secrets of the Nine realms! From the weakness of Brunnhilde to the hidden passages of Odin's Vault."

Hela had a glint in her eyes as she looked at the shameless smile of Charles.

"Oh yes, It's time for my dinner! Do you fancy anything?" Suddenly asked Charles as he opened up a portal to Appledore where Veronica's fearful expression could be seen in the hologram and he quickly retrieved a bottle of white wine with 2 plates of dinner.

Hela shook her chained hand to remind Charles that she couldn't eat when suddenly he extended a fork with a piece of Lasagna towards her lips.

"You really aren't afraid of deat-" was all she could say before Charles fed her Lasagna and then from the same fork, ate himself.

"The taste of death is truly addicting." He said as he relished the dish.

.

.

.

Veronica was scared out of her mind. She felt true horror for the first time when she saw that woman! She immediately asked the permission from Charles to initiate the backup plan but her Master seemed to have the situation under his control.

"What an utterly terrifying woman…"
