"Great news," greeted Eros's doctor when she walked into our room. "Eros's health has exceptionally improved. We will schedule his treatment for the day after tomorrow and as I said before, both the patient and the donor will need extra care after the surgery so please prepare yourselves as well to better take care of them."
Heaven knows how relieving and terrifying that news is. If anything goes wrong after or during the procedure, there is nothing we can do to save Eros.
We have decided to get a new room. A bigger one.
Turns out, there's no one can look after Gab 24 hours a day and the doctor said he won't be able to mobilize for a day or two after the marrow extraction.
Eros and Gab will share a room after the transplant.

"Thanks for helping us here Rupert," I said while folding Eros's dirty laundry.
"It's the least I can do besides there's nothing much I could do in a bakery that doesn't have bread to sell," he replied while making Gab's bed.
