Memorial Service today

A memorial service will be held in Central Square this afternoon to remember Chalidah Mahlani, whose death sparked the fire that led to the resolution of the VE conflict and to the exposure of Cochard's machinations. It is in no small part because of this tragedy that the way is now open for more humane and considered regulations.

The memorial is open to the public.
