Spending Time With Elizabeth: Part Two

The leader started pulling Elizabeth's pants down.

No matter how hard she struggled, she just couldn't escape the two men's hands that held her down.

She looked at Xiao Ying and they both locked eyes.

He could see tears in them.

"Xiao Ying! Run! Hurry up and run!" She kept yelling.

However, Xiao Ying wasn't listening. In fact, he couldn't hear anything.

The crying face of Elizabeth as she was about to get raped engraved itself into his mind.

In his perception, everything was moving in slow motion.

'Why?' His voice echoed within his mind.

'Why can I never be strong enough when I need to?' It kept echoing.

Suddenly, everything turned red; his eyes, everything around him, it was all painted red to him.

In the real world, an oppressive aura of slaughter was being exuded from his body. He had unleashed his aura from its suppression.

"NO!" Xiao Ying yelled.

He got up and pulled out his dagger.

"What the fuck? Boys handle that wh-"

The leaders words were cut short as Xiao Ying's dagger had ran through his throat.

The leader's eyes were full of shock and unwillingness as he died without even knowing how.

While the rest of the men were shocked by his aura, Xiao Ying had rushed up to the leader using the movement technique of his manual. In their eyes, though, it seemed as if he had disappeared from where he was standing.

In reality, the movement technique had caused the shadows in the alley to cover his body, resulting in everyone to losing sight of him as he moved like past them, like a shadow. It was from this that it got its name, "Traceless Shadows."

Evidently, the cultivation manual they cultivated couldn't stand up to Xiao Ying's, the Slaughter of Crimson Shadow!

Taking advantage of the other's shock, he also cut the throat of the two holding elizabeth.

Afterwards, the other two that was standing in his way before had snapped out of their daze and turned around, once again shocked at their dead comrades.

Looking into one of their eyes, Xiao Ying had used the "Shadow of Nine Lives."

While one of them was in the illusion, the other one ran at Xiao Ying, thinking the other would back him up and help him.

Also running forward, Xiao Ying used his movement technique again to disappear from sight and cut his throat.

Reappearing not too far from the last one, he walked slowly toward his prey.

The man, having snapped out of the illusion and seeing that his allies were dead, he pissed himself.

Xiao Ying walked closer and closer as the man shook in his boots, too terrified to move.

Once he got right in front of the cultivator, Xiao Ying said, in his deepest and coldest voice, " Never fuck with me, the Crimson Shadow, again! Now go!"

The man stumbled backwards, and ran off ,trying to get as far away from that location as fast as possible for fear of losing his life.

After he was gone, Xiao Ying suddenly broke out into deep breaths after falling to the ground.

It seemed as if he couldn't get enough air into his lungs. Before long, he feinted.

All this while, Elizabeth watched everything unfold after she was freed.

Her eyes were wide and solemn.

In front of her were 4 dead bodies and blood everywhere. On the ground, on the walls, on her, and especially on Xiao Ying.

"Xiao Ying? Are you okay? We've got to go! Come on! Get up!" Elizabeth started speaking before realizing Xiao Ying was unconscious.

Quickly, she ran up to Xiao Ying, picked up his dagger and him, before carrying him home. They had to go before the guards were alerted.

Elizabeth ducked and dodged into alleys before reaching the orphanage so that she wouldn't run into any guards.

Opening the door, she brought Xiao Ying in before yelling, "Someone! I think Xiao Ying is hurt!"

Daniel, Erica, Michael, and Dan all rushed toward her voice.

Daniel took control of the situation and asked, "What in the hell happened here?"

Elizabeth then told the story of everything that happened from when they left the house to when they came back.

Dan and Michael were angry, "Those bastards!"

"Calm down, everyone calm down. Erica, go wash the blood off of his body and make sure there are no wounds on him. Elizabeth, go wash your clothes, his clothes, and take a bath. Dan and Michael, make sure no one followed them home." Daniel started ordering.

"Yes sir!" They all answered as if they were in the army.

Everyone then rushed off to do what they were told.

A few hours later, everyone went to check on Xiao Ying as he had woken up.

"No, ELIZABETH!" Xiao Ying yelled, reached his hand toward the ceiling. He had woke up in a cold sweat.

Sitting up, Xiao Ying noticed everyone was surrounding him.

"Elizabeth! You're okay! What happened? Last thing I remember is..." the memories of him killing began rushing into his mind.

"Yeah…yeah, I'm okay. No need to worry." She comforted him.

Daniel spoke, "Thank you, Xiao Ying for protecting our daughter."

"Thanks bro. If there's anything you need help with, don't hesitate to ask me." Dan also thanked him.

To the side, Michael nodded his head.

Still immersed in the thought that he had taken another life, he was barely listening, only nodding his head.

Against his expectations….he didn't feel anything about taking another life. It just didn't affect him. It seemed as if he could kill without blinking an eye.

"Surprisingly, you barely suffered any wounds. You only have a bruise on your face where I'm guessing you were hit, as well as a sprained wrist."

Snapping out of his thoughts, Xiao Ying said, "Thank you all for being concerned about me. I think I'm going to rest for a while; I'm exhausted."

"Okay, we'll let you recover." Daniel spoke.

After they left, Xiao Ying interacted with the system.
