Aurora rested her chin on her palms, looking at Noah who was preparing for his discharge. "But why?" she asked, her voice tinged with disappointment. She sat on Noah's bed, crossing her arms and legs, clearly showing her dissatisfaction.
Noah smiled and turned to Aurora, gently pinching her cheek. "I have some important work to take care of, but once it's done, I promise to make arrangements for you and Mom to move to our new house, okay?" He tried to reassure her, understanding her unhappiness about him having to go back to Ching City and return later due to work commitments.
Aurora's eyes sparkled upon hearing Noah's words. She turned to Sarah, who had been quietly listening to their conversation. "Mama, are we going to live with Uncle Noah?!" Her excitement caused her to stand up in anticipation.
