Elliot knew that he couldn't stay quiet. What Matthew had said were serious accusations. She wanted to take him away. To where? Not like Matt had been one on details. He had been darn right inconsolable. Then when the tears had passed he had been exhausted and not been able to talk. He couldn't even hold eye contact. He was hesitant to bring it up because he didn't want a repeat, so the only thing he could do was talk to the accused party.
