There was something that just didn't sit right with her. Yes Matt had texted her, but all he could say was that he was sorry. It wasn't right. It didn't feel right. Something had to be up for him to just say that. Either he was apologizing for something he had done or what he was about to do. Yes she shouldn't think like that, but it was hard not to. He had a lot of time to apologize, but why now? And he didn't say anymore.

She hadn't been able to relax or concentrate since that night. Good thing she didn't have a job. She just held her cup of coffee as she looked out the kitchen window, lost in her thoughts. She heard the footsteps coming from behind her, but she didn't turn.

"Good morning" Elliot mumbled and was probably drinking his coffee.

She just hummed.

"What's wrong?" he asked from where he sat.

"Matthew texted me yesterday" she stated flatly.
