"Okay gather around recruits, since we have a new recruit joining us today, you can all go and use your chosen techniques to absorb mana"

A pale and medium build instructor could be heard talking to the recruits in a small area, as he moved towards Aeon.

"Okay rookie, I presume you don't know about the different ranks and what absorption techniques right?", to which Aeon nodded.

"Alright, where should I start... Ahh yes, there 7 ranks, the Novice, Advanced, Knight, Grand Knight, Lord, Prince and finally the King rank with each rank having 5 levels. You with me?"

To which Aeon nodded. Making sure that the recuit was on the same page as him he continued

"Okay, now that you know the ranks, you need to know that every single sentient creature in the world has a core which they use as a magnet and battery–"

"Umm... Sir what is a battery?" questioned Aeon.

Shaking his head in disbelief the instructor said "My god you really are a countryside bumpkin... well whatever uhhh, the core attracks the world energy or most commonly known as mana, to strength itself which inturn strenghens your body and increases your rank through the use of various techniques.

While in the process of attracting mana to strength your body, with luck, and the right technique for your body, some of the mana is absorbed and stored in your core and used as fuel for your skills... did you get that?"

To which Aeon nodded with enthusiasm.

"Alright you can go to the library and pick any technique for now and test it out until you find one you feel is giving you the best result" advised the instructor.

Arriving at the library, Aeon walked to the front desk where he saw an old lady and asked

"Hello there, where do I pick out a technique for mana absorption?"

"Show me your ID" she sighed.

After showing her his ID, she then directed him to a book shelf that was grander than the rest, which was filled with a a lot of scrolls and books.

Looking at the many selections he had, Aeon picked a book that had fancy cover, filled with patters that was called [ Heavenly Sky Tiger technique ]. Seeing this the librarian couldn't help but scoff in her mind as she wondered how this new recuit will ever be able to use this technique.

After borrowing the book, Aeon left the library and back to the power training class arena.

Sitting in isolation, Aeon began to read the book with absolute focus as this was an important moment in his life where he will embark on a journey where he will soar to the top!

After reading through the part which describes how the initial level of the technique must be used, Aeon followed each step to a T, and due to his mana sensitivity since he awaked his bloodline, he was easily able to perform it on his first time.

"No way!"

"Impossible! No one in the entire base, including those peerless and stupidly talent twins weren't compatible with it!"

All the recruits that saw Aeon performing the technique had their eyes almost pop out of their sockets from shock and started shouting in disbelief, which attracted the instructor's attention who then also saw Aeon performing it perfectly.

'Where did this monster come from?' he thought to him himself

Completely oblivious his surroundings, he finishing a full circulation of the technique that took almost two and a half hours which was almost the entire lesson, Aeon felt something enter his core that was always with him. "..."

Noticing his furious expression, the students sighed in relief, and started to ridicule him

"Haha! I knew he couldn't do it, he probably just got closer than most people but that doesn't mean he's able to do it"

Ignoring the laughter of the rest of the recruits, the instructor who was one the 4th level on the Advanced rank was thinking to himself

'I'm pretty sure he finished the technique... I felt that the mana around me was moving towards him, but seeing his expression, maybe he is just unlucky and the technique doesn't work with him'

Sighing in frustration, Aeon shook his head and decided to return to the library and check out better techniques.
