What The Heck?

So one of the men caught up to them and caught Pearl's leg. Pearl: Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh Help me. Roxy turns behind to see men around Pearl. Roxy: Get away from her now. Men: You don't tell me what to do give me the money. Roxy: And if I don't. Men: You will never see your friend again. Roxy walks towards the men and punches one of them she get Pearl and they run to her bedroom. They call the police and in a few minutes they start hearing sirens before they could even get out they start hearing loud thuds and groaning they get out of the room to see men on the ground they call their parents and Pearl goes home. Pearl's parents: Thank you so Much for keeping our baby safe. Dad: Its no problem have a good night. Mom: Roxy are you ok we are so sorry you had to go through that did they hurt you. Roxy: No but I think Pearl sprained her ankle. Mom: They are on their way to the hospital you should to bed cause its late. Roxy: Ok Good night Mom and Dad. The next morning Roxy gets ready for school as she is leaving the house she remembers about the job application. When she gets to school she waits for Pearl at the gates of the school but she doesn't comes so Roxy decides to head on to class as the last bell of school rings Roxy heads to the cafe and she gets the jobs as a waitress after that she decides to pay Pearl a visit. When she gets their she is greeted by her little brother Miles. Miles: Hi you must be Roxy nice to meet you. Roxy: Oh Hello Miles is Pearl at home by any chance. Miles: Oh she just went to the grocery store but you can come inside cause she won't be long. Roxy: Ok thank you so much. Ten minutes later Pearl enters the house. Pearl: Oh Roxy your hear am so sorry I didn't call you I was so tired. Roxy: No its ok you don't have to I understand. Pearl: Did this little guy give you any problems. Roxy: No he is quite the little man. Pearl: Oh please lets go to my room. Miles: See am nice even Roxy agrees. Pearl: Go do your homework. Roxy laughs and they head to Pearl's room. Roxy: By the way I applied for that job at that cafe and I got the job am gonna tell Mom and Dad tonight cause I really need a distraction from my life. Pearl: Lucky I wish I could get a job. Roxy: You can they are looking for another waitress at the cafe. Pearl: Oh really great we'll will go there tomorrow together right. Roxy: No problem we shall go. After sometime Roxy decided to go home when she got there she called her parents downstairs. Mom: Yes honey. Roxy: I need to tell you guys something. Dad: What is wrong? Roxy: So I got a job at the cafe near school I was asking if I could start working there please I promise I will keep my grades up and I will be safe please. Mom: What do you think honey? Dad: I think it's time you learn how business works I say yes. Mom: Ok but if you get a problem you are not going back there ok cause a lot has happened ok. Roxy: Thank you guys so much. They all shared a hug and went to have dinner. The next morning Roxy woke up bright and early cause it was a Saturday and she had to to work she had her breakfast and headed to Pearl's house. When she got there Pearl was already waiting for her at the door. Roxy: Morning Bestie ready to get your new job. Pearl: Yes I am lets go. So they took an uber there and when they arrived they eaxh took a deep breathe and walked in. they went to the manager's office. Roxy: Good morning Miss Tyler. Miss Tyler: Oh Good Morning Roxy how may I help you. Oh are you here for your apron well it's right here. Roxy: Yes but no am here with my friend Pearl she would like to apply for the waitress job. Miss Tyler: Oh ok wonderful I was just about to put up an ad so lets have the interview. Roxy will you please excuse us. Roxy: Oh sorry bye. Pearl finally comes out of the office with a sad face. Roxy: Oh you didnt get the job. Pearl: No I got the job. They both started jumping but their happiness was short lived when they hear a familiar laugh. Alexis: What are you guys happy about? Both of them turned to her and glared. Alexis: Don't tell me your happy about getting a job here well at least I work in my dad's company. Roxy was going to slap her but she missed. Then Alexis pushes Roxy to the ground. Then a tall boy who just came to here school came in and stopped Alexis from slapping her. TO BE CONTINUED :]
