Elle’s Decision

Tick tock

Tick tock

Says the clock

As the heart thumps loudly

Impatiently waiting for the one

Who can cause it to be calm

"Shit". Elle exclaimed angrily as the tip of the pencil she was using broke again. This was the third time the tip of the pencil she was drawing with had broken this morning and she was already frustrated about it.

"What's the matter, Elle?" Elena who lay on the bed reading a novel as usual asked.

"Nothing really. Just this stupid pencil. It just keeps breaking". She replied as she stood up and attempts to stretch over to the table nearby to pick up another pencil. She had some difficulty standing up because of how enclosed the place she sat previously was and she ended up shaking the red water paint on her drawing table which fell and spilled over the beautiful piece she was working on.

"God damn it! Shit!" She said angrily again.
