Day Dreaming

"No boss, Did he told you that he would be visiting us? What did he even said to you about his daughter? Did you let him knew that she's in our custody now?." Mark asked.

"Yes.. I went to see him first, and have told him to cancel the marriage between me and her, As I cannot be dealing with the other groups attacking us, family problems too, and now be dealing with a woman, No way!" Dave replied as he shook.his head, and said,

"She's the least of my problem for now. And since she doesn't want the marriage, then cancelling it settles it."

"Hmph.." Mark nodded, and he thought for a while, then he asked,

"But do you like her boss?."

"What!" Dave was startled, and he stared at Mark in surprise, and replied,

"What do you mean by if I like her Mark? She's our prisoner, so No."

"Hm.." Mark didn't buy the replied, as he stared intently at Dave, and he asked,

"Are you sure boss? Or you are just trying to deny the feeling?."

"What nonsense feelings are you talking about Mark? Now enough!. As I have something important to deal with" Dave warned and Mark only smiled as he stood up.

"Why will I like someone who threatened to kill me?" Dave asked out, as he denied having feelings for Ashley, and he sat down back on his executive office seat..

"Hmm, Am just wondering as to why you didn't torture her" Mark spoked out his curiosity, and Dave remarked,

"Don't stress thinking about that Mark. Imagine if I had tortured her too and later realized that she was Mr Dot first daughter, how would he react?. Well am sure she knew about her father's influence in our company, As to why she was bold enough, to come here and didn't wanted to told us whom her father is. As if I had harmed her, then that way her father would have tortured me too, and become our enemy, cancelling the marriage, and as well his connection with us, so I thought it wise not to have harm her first" Dave explained satisfactory, hiding his true feelings and Mark nodded in agreement.

"You have always been smart Boss, I couldn't have imagine a lady to be as tough as her either" Mark replied, and Dave added,

"I guess she's trying to be the son that her father never had."

Dave stood up and left his office, going to his inner chamber to rest for the day, as they will be having another bash party, at the middle of the night to celebrate their wins.. And so he wanted to rest and to took a little nap before the night completely fell.

Ashley sat down in her cage room and wondered how her sister and father would be feeling, as it was getting to four days and yet they haven'r seen nor spoken to eachother, and they have never been separated before without any form of communication between them either.

Angered by the thought again, she punched the wall closer to herself hard, over the annoyance that her younger sister would be seriously worried about her, As she didn't knew if Dave had still gone to informed her father of her whereabout and her being in his custody..

She stood up and walked over to the front door, dragging her chained legs along with herself, as she walked to the door, to call on the guard, stationed to guard her cage room and to spoke with him..

"Aaron, when will you people open this damn door!" Ashley yelled, surprising Aaron to heard her called his named, but he didn't replied, nor walked back to meet her, As he stood away, while Ashley banged and shook on the cage door violently.

"Where is your boss? Go and call him for me, As I want to speak with him?" Ashley ordered, As she saw Aaron didn't turned to stared at her, nor to meet her either.

"Can't you hear me?! Call your boss now!" Ashley thundered, and Aaron finally turned and walked up to meet her at her cage room door, and he questioned out,

"What's your problem woman?."

Aaron stood rightly in front of her with only the cage room door separating them. And Ashley spoked to him,

"Go and call your boss. I want to speak with him?."

Ashley wanted to ask about her father but Aaron smiled to her and replied,

"Am sorry miss, but i cannot leave my guarding position and call the boss for you. Understood?."

Aaron turned and went back to his standing position in the corridor, and Ashley pulled the cage door hardly and screamed out,

"Go call your boss, You idiot!."

Aaron didn't responded nor turned to stare at Ashley again and she got tired and went back to laid on the new mattress given to her, and was kept in her room.

As ever since they got to knew that she was Mr Dot Kones first daughter, they brought in the mattress, so she would stopped sleeping on the cold tiled floor, but they hadn't loosen her chained legs yet.

"What's taking Papa so long to show up here?" Ashley thought, as she laid on the mattress and turned to laid on her side, To find a better sleeping position, as she was still fully awake and wondering what was happening in the hall. As she could heard the fade sound of music coming from the hall.
