She's here...

Nova was flung to the ground, and when her back struck the earth, she winced in pain. Fearfully, she shifted back as the stranger approached her.

When her back struck the tree, she was unable to move. Despite her best efforts, Nova was unable to move.

She struggled as she was fastened to the tree in just a moment.

"Who are you? Why are you acting in this way?" Nova asked, still trying to get the rope loose.

She was interested in the face hidden behind the mask.

"Nova, do not push yourself; you can not be free." Saying that, the stranger showed his face.

When Nova saw the face behind the mask, she was taken aback. She knew Camen hated her, but there was no way he would tie her to a tree.

"I will release you after the hunt is over because I do not want the Alpha to come across you again. He is hunting. I hope you have a pleasant stay here." With a sly smile, Camen put back his mask.

As he turned to leave, he ignored Nova's pleas. When Nova realized he would soon free her, she gave up her struggle under the rope.

After a few hours, Nova's body beneath the rope started to feel numb. When the clouds darkened, Nova realized that rain was imminent. She grinned, knowing that once he sees the cloud, he will release her.

"Camen, let's head back to the palace. I think it will rain soon" Alex said as he mounted his horse.

After agreeing, Camen got up on his horse. They sped on their horses to the palace. As the thunder roared, a heavy downpour started.

When they arrived at the palace's horse ranch, Camen was startled by the sound of thunder. He made adjustments to the Alpha's attire.

However, Alex's thoughts were fixed on Nova.

"I wish I could let her go, but I can't." Alex said, staring into Camen's eyes

Acknowledging the Alpha's yearning for Nova, Camen released his breath.

"Please forget about her. She…. Oh no, what have I done" Recalling Nova, Camen held his head.

"What's wrong, Camen?"

Although Camen was hesitant to tell Alex the truth, there was no other option. Camen described everything, from the time he abducted her till the time he tied Nova to the tree.

Alex boiled with rage.

"You will regret being alive, Camen, if something were to happen to her. Prepare my horse now."

Although Camen had never experienced Alex's wrath and had no desire to, he hastily prepared Alex's horse.

Alex got back on his horse and rode towards the forest. The rain did not really bother him. He wished for her welfare.

Alex dismounted and began to look around haphazardly for Nova.

"Hold on, Alpha. I know where she is, whereas Iii kept her there" Camen said and strode to the path where he left Nova.

Alex saw Nova tied to the tree, her body drenched from the rain, and he held his chest in agony.

To calm his rage, Alex charged at Camen and delivered several hard blows. Camen wiped the blood off his lips in the downpour.

Alex ran over to Nova and took hold of her frail body, which felt both cold and soft in his arms. He gave Nova a shake, but it did not help. Alex freed her, mounted his horse, and rode to the palace.

Her icy body needed care, or else she might perish in his arms, and he was bewildered.

Alex hurried to the palace and embraced her tightly. Kylie welcomed him, but his main concern was for Nova's security.

Upon arriving at his room, he placed Nova on his bed.

"Call the physician now" Alex gave the soldier his orders at his door. "You must not die, Nova, I need you. Iii"

"Alpha, kindly exit this room. I need to tend to her" the physician said as he entered the alpha's room.

Alex glanced at Nova and left his room. He paced while he awaited the physician.

"Who is that b*tch, alpha? I greeted you, but you did not turn to face me. All you cared about was her" Kylie blurted out, moving closer to Alex.

Suddenly, with enraged eyes, Alex gripped her neck tightly.

"Don't you dare, Kylie and don't force me to disfigure your face"

Her neck was nearly pierced as Alex's claw protruded from his nails. Kylie hit his hands repeatedly, gasping for air as she shook with terror.

"Stop it, Alpha," Amarynthia said, approaching them.

Alex ignored her command and timesghtly gripped Kylie's neck; blood dripped from Kylie's neck, and she winced in pain.

With a smile on his face, Alex withdrew his hand as his room door opened and hurried inside.

Breathing heavily, Kylie collapsed to the ground.

"Amarynthia, I am not capable of handling this; the Alpha is hard to manage. He brought a woman with him as well. I am not capable of doing this." Kylie let out a cry, her cheeks dripping with tears.

With a release of breath, Amarynthia held Kylie. She embraced Kylie while keeping her eyes closed. Amarynthia calms Kylie's anxiety with her power.

She then experienced her power being diminished by a powerful force. She made an effort to find the force that outweighs her own strength.

She gasped as she widely opened her eyes.

Amarynthia announced, "She is here," gesturing to the powerful force.

"Who is here?" Kylie enquired with curiosity

Amarynthia ignored Kylie and searched for her. As the force devoured her strength, she felt as though her life was in danger.

Her powers diminish with each step she takes toward the alpha's door. Breathless, she clutched her chest. She could feel the power consuming every cell in her body.

Amarynthia opened the alpha's door;

"You have arrived," she exclaimed, before passing out.
