Dawn of gods (5)

Having not experienced daytime and the sun scorching against his skin before, Nikolai anticipated that it would at least have some effects on him. Fortunately, he felt absolutely normal and energetic as usual.

Ophelia's castle, located at the mountain's summit, was quickly reached. All of it was made of gold and marble, and the sun's powerful reflection gave it a religious appearance. The architecture astounded him and with a lovely blend of the trees surrounding it, the white marble pillars, and everything else, it was simply breathtaking.

Guards greeted them as soon as they entered the castle and immediately saw Nikolai as a potential threat.

They were all gods but of course, the weak ones. Nikolai reflected.

"Your divinity, this is a blood moon god." One of the guards spoke as though Ophelia was deaf and dumb, but instead of taking this information negatively, she giggled, covering her mouth with her palm.
