Chapter 2 - Claiming Rewards

Lincoln first selected the Newbie Rewards, which after a few seconds, they came in, being different each time until the last one.

Reward number One: Exp +500, Black, breathable T-Shirt, Black Tactical Pants, with a lot of pocket space, some orange and black shoes, and a survival Jacket/Overcoat.

Reward number Two: Exp +1000, a Survival Backpack with basic survival supplies, and some wall climbing gear.

Reward number Three: Exp +1500, Multiverse Scissors, Marco Diaz approved issue.*

Reward number Four: Exp +2000, Pokemon GO Machine

Reward number Five: Exp +5000, Infinite PokeBall Maker

Seeing everything appear on his desk, he gulped. He was getting excited at the possibilities. For one, he didn't have to buy supplies anymore, unless he wanted to. Two, things were freaking appearing out of nowhere! It wasn't normal. It was cool!

And, Lincoln was pretty damn happy with the survival gear, more than anything else, but that's just how Lincoln is, he's a bit of a Zombie Survivalist expert, and a fanatic for it.

And to top it all off, he was raised to level 10 as well? Well there you have a great start to a good day. It may now take ten thousand exp per level up, but that's nothing in the long run. He was a gamer at heart.

Now that he has 50 Stat points to spend, he thought he ought to even them out, and began doing so with controlled thinking, not wanting to mess up already.

He was a bit surprised with how much better he felt than normal, leaner, more athletic, and smarter. Good choices all around he surmised.

He also appreciated the free 10k Gold Coins he had available to spend, and so he went to use them immediately.

First, he buys twenty Pokéballs, and then two LoveBalls, having a premonition that he should. Every PokeBall he bought appeared in a basket, looking like strangely designed gumballs, with a little button on them.

He picked up a LoveBall, and clicked the said button, nearly jumping as it expanded into around four inches diameter. It was cute, and also very exciting, since he loved Pokemon.

He played Pokemon GO! every single day when he was twelve, upon getting access to his first phone, and he had almost every single Pokemon in his Pokédex.

Unfortunately, it looked like he would have to start all over from scratch on this new device, but he was ready to go, quickly suiting up in his new clothes, without the jacket for now, quickly storing that into his new backpack.

He started down the stairs, ready to explore with the new device, since he was off of work for the next four days. And he definitely didn't want to miss out on anything.

"Girls, I'm going out! Don't worry about me, okay?", Lincoln yelled up the stairs after his still young sisters, his older ones have mostly moved out, except a few.

Lincoln got no response, aside from Lily yelling for him to be careful, and Lucy saying 'Kay', quietly, and so he shrugged, walking out the door.

"Alright, Lincoln, it's GO time. New game? Yes. 'Welcome, Lincoln Loud, to Pokémon GO Plus! This, is an improved version of the mobile game. You can actually interact with the Pokemon, see them physically from now on, AND You may even build relationships with your 'Mons. Sexual, Romantically, Buddy Buddy? No problem, now! I hope you enjoy the gift, and as you've just started, you are given a choice of which Pokémon you are starting with. We will go with the classics this time:

1. Bulbasaur, 2. Squirtle, 3. Charmander, or, if you want to be daring, 4. Randomized!", Lincoln read the lines out loud to himself, and quickly thought on what, or who, he should choose.

If he chooses Bulbasaur, the Pokemon would be weak to Fire damage, Squirtle to Grass damage, and Charmander to Water Damage. But at the same time, he could make them all impervious to their weaknesses with time, so it shouldn't be too hard to do so.

However, what would happen if he chose the random choice? What, or who would he get? It could be from a scary looking Pinser, to the cutest looking Eevee, there were too many possibilities of getting something that's not good to start with on a journey.

But then he thought logically. If this was going to be real from now on for him, he would need some solid, decent protection, so he would need Charmander. Eventually the little salamander would fly, so he would be able to get around faster, and farther.

So that is who he chose, deciding if there's ever another random option, he may choose that instead. In front of him, the very air glowed, becoming brighter, and brighter, and brighter, until finally the light dimmed down, revealing a Charmander in all her glory.

She was pretty big, just below his knees in height, and some thicc thighs and a belly to signify that she was healthy. She was beautiful.
