Chapter 4- Recogized.

*Bam!* The moment the two swords collided a giant impact was delivered throughout the room.

"Aaaargh!" Master Yu's disciple had his hand almost destroyed and Kyoko's sword was coming in his direction with so much power that even her couldn't stop it now, he saw death before his eyes and couldn't even process it before the arrival of her blade.

*Pa* While in his own thoughts he was as good as dead Master Yu's disciple opened his eyes to see a finger blocking the blade that was like the reaper's scythe to him.

"Tsk tsk tsk, you two kids are too harsh, if you use the strongest move you know with all your power one of the combatants is as good as dead, that's just a sparring match, you could see who was stronger without having to resort to a finisher move." Kenshin, who was watching all the time, moved to stop his daughter's sword in the last moment, with just a finger all the chi around the blade was dissolved and the strength disappeared without letting it move even an inch.

"But Dad! He was the one to pull it, i was ready to let him off the hook without materializing chi but when he did it i had to do it right?" She felt it was unfair, she wasn't the one who messed up, she just needed to defend herself.

*Pa!* Without caring for what she said Kenshin bonked her and she was brought to tears while scratching her head and saying she was sorry.

*Pa!* Even if his wounds were super deep and he was already in pain Master Yu also bonked his disciple for his foolish actions.

"You were both wrong, so just say sorry and hug so you can be friends again." Master Yu was firm in his words, kids needed to be properly taught, otherwise they would become bad adults.

Hugging and saying sorry to each other Kyoko and the disciple both sat besides their masters.

"Sorry for going overboard Kyoko, my name is Yu Otonashi and i hope you can forgive me this time, you're really strong and i want you to be my rival." Otonashi bowed deeply to ask her this.

"Of course i will forgive you, i went overboard too, and sorry for the mocking, i will gladly accept you as my rival, you're a worthy guy." Kyoko also bowed deeply to apologize for her actions.

"Haha. Kids nowadays are really hot-blooded but at least everything ended up well, no injuries that can't be treated, nobody died." With the tension dissolving and relieved to see his disciple still alive Master Yu was so happy that he couldn't restrain himself from laughing.

"Haha, they are rowdy for sure, at least they're still kids so i could contain the fight without any problem." Kenshin was happy, his daughter showed strength and proved that she was growing to be a powerful woman, and even if things went overboard he wasn't worried at all, stepping up and stopping the fight was easy for him.

"Master Kenshin, i have to thank you for saving my disciple, they're young but still strong, even if i'm stronger it would still be super hard for me to stop the fight in time, and with my wounds still healing you could change hard to impossible." Master Yu was bowing deeply to express his gratitude, his disciples were precious to him and Otonashi was the senior brother amongst them so he would be too sad if he lost him.

"Ma-master! Don't bow, you're the master so doing this isn't goo...Twack!" Before he finished his sentence Master Yu slapped the face of this foolish disciple.

"Otonashi, he saved your life, you should bow with me to express your gratitude, that's the only way to maintain our honor." With the slap Otonashi also started bowing and he realized he needed to put his pride away to show gratitude.

"Haha, no need for that much Master Yu, i just did what i needed to do, the stronger must protect the weaker and the older must protect the younger so it was the right thing to do." Kenshin acted like a benevolent senior cause even if he wasn't like that he had to act his age.

After the fight Master Yu called some other disciples and told them to prepare and serve some tea to them.

In just a moment the tea was ready and poured in tea-cups for the four, the tea cups were beautiful, made of porcelain and covered in paintings of all kinds of flowers.

"Haah, the tea is really good Master Yu, your dojo really has good hospitality, what did you put in this tea?" Taking sips from the tea Kenshin was really pleased with it's rich taste.

"Oh, thank you Master Kenshin! This tea is made using some ginseng and also lemon balm and anise." Master Yu was always proud of his dojo's tea, they had the best in the region and one of the bests in the whole country.

While Master Yu explained the ingredients Kyoko was already taking notes of them in her head and also peeking the disciples making more tea, she was proud in her cooking skills and wanted to learn anything that was good.

"Do you want to sleep here this night? We have some extra beds for you and your daughter so i would gladly accept you two as my guests for the night." Master Yu really wanted to talk more with Kenshin, he wanted to learn a bit from this strong master.

"No need for it, we will probably be traveling tomorrow so i would rather be already packing things today, so we will be going, farewell." Kenshin was a wanderer, always wandering around cities and competing with masters in each place he visited, so even if his hospitality was good he was refusing today.

"Ok, let me walk out with you, i hope you have a good travel." Master Yu and Kenshin were already walking towards the door and calling the youngsters.

Before Kyoko could stand up to follow her dad Otonashi decided to use this little time when his master and her ad weren't close to talk to her so he grabbed her hand.

"Hey, uh, you're really pretty, and an awesome fighter, and i think i would like to know you more, if in the future i win a fight against you, would you date me?" His face was so red that someone could think he had a fever but he did it, he said what he wanted to say.

"I know i'm beautiful and strong, and nah i wouldn't date you, but you winning a fight against me is even more impossible so i accept your challenge, beat me and you will be the happiest guy in earth as you will have me as your girlfriend." She got up and quickly turned heading towards the exit so he wouldn't see her face also getting red and a large smile popping in her face.

"Do you have a fever?" After getting out her dad pointed at her face.

"N-no, it must be some of this weakling's blood that tainted my cheeks with a bit of red." She walked away from the dojo as fast as she could and the father-daughter duo went to pack their things for the next travel.
