GREGORY EVANS, REMOVED the BioChip folder from his pocket and handed it to Victoria.

— What is this? — Asked the woman without understanding.

— Please read!

Nicole, along with Green, moved even closer to Victoria so that both could read the contents.

The woman glanced quickly over the entire text, stopping at the last sentence of the leaflet:

A new world starts now... with BIOCHIP ENLIL MARK we will have the emergence of global society... without money... A new world awaits you.

— Cashless global society? — Nicole repeated, not understanding.

— But what is this? Victoria asked, looking at the policeman as if asking for clarification.

— That's why I'm here, ma'am — replied Fernando Dante. — So that you can understand what I want to show you, I need to say that this folder has not yet been released to the public. We got it through Interpol when we were tracking down the ex-Swiss Guard. It refers to a credit system and purchase and sale operations, to be operated through the Central Bank of the European Union; it was commissioned from one of the companies connected with a powerful family clan, which we believe belongs to the Brotherhood of the Serpent.

— Father Green — said the young woman, turning to the priest beside her — do you have any idea what that means?

— This is very worrying, Victoria – the Book of Revelation, chapter 13, verses 16 and 17 – see for yourself!

Startled, the woman looked at her daughter.

— Do you understand now? — Asked the young woman.

— You see, Victoria — now it was Roman Green who took the floor — because of his job, Greg stumbled into what we could call the greatest conspiracy in history. — That's really hard to accept — agreed Victoria.

Green continued:

— Human beings like us, whose life spans at most seventy or eighty years, find it difficult to believe that there could be an intelligence manipulating the history of man from its origin.

— The big question now is to know what we can do — said Victoria — we are at the end of the game and the opponent, apparently, is winning.

— This is the question — said Fernando Dante — honestly, I don't know what to do. And since you were the person who made us aware of the existence of the Brotherhood of the Serpent, here I am, together, to try to find a way out.

— I'm sorry, Superintendent — the woman said — but I just don't see how I can help you.

— Okay — agreed Victoria — but what do you mean by that?

My suggestion is that rather than trying to divulge what we already know, we should first identify who the Antichrist will be.
