Just as my shoulders continued to shake, a slight feeling of discomfort caused me to lose my sleepiness. If it were my younger sister Misa waking me up, she wouldn't be using such a gentle action, but would be yelling, slapping my face, grabbing my hair, pinching my nose until I can't breathe and doing all sorts of violent acts, or even the devilish act of jumping at me in full force.
At the very moment, I noticed that It was neither Misa nor Reina was waking me up. I opened my eyes and looked at my surroundings. My eyes widened slightly, seeing an unknown little girl staring at me. She was wearing a neat white dress with a blue ribbon belt. She has a sky blue shoulder length hair that matches her turquoise colored eyes. It was my first time seeing that kind of hair and eyes.
For a minute, I stared at the beautiful little girl in front of me but suddenly felt is slight chill in my spine.
'W-What was that? Is that the other world's FBI? Oh please spare me! I'm not even a lolicon!'
"Ahem! Young lad! if you stare at my 8 year old daughter like that, I might take it as an ill intention towards my daughter. I know my daughter is cute but if you stare too much you might burn" Another person walked in to the room, Staring at me with daggers. It was a dark-skinned old man in his 40's. He is a massive and bulky bald man with a brown goatee and brown eyes.
"S-sorry, It's not my intention! It's just that, It was my first time seeing a hair like that. " I immediately apologized.
"Is that so? Well, This kind of hair was very unique but be careful in staring at a girl or they might take it differently"
"I'm really sorry about that. by the way, Where am I? I can't seem to remember how did I end up in here "
"About that, My daughter found you in the forest unconscious so we brought you here in our house. I'm surprise that you were not attacked by the wolves that live in that area. " The old man told me everything.
So they were the one that save me. I 'm pretty lucky not to be eaten by the wolves by the way.
"Thank you so much for saving me! my name is Andre Crux. May I know what are the names of my saviors? " I bowed my head showing my deepest gratitude towards them.
"my name is Yume, Mister. Nice to meet you! " the little girl answered with a brimming bright smile. It reminded me of my little sister, who always smiles at me.
'Misa, Mother, I hope you two are doing okay!' I prayed.
"My name Arnold, A blacksmith. Hmmmm, That's rare, Are you a noble or something?" Arnold looked at me like he was suspicious.
"No, I'm not anyone with high status what so ever. Why would you ask that?"
" Well, Anyone with last names are commonly from the noble houses so I thought you are one but base on what you are wearing you must be a soldier, right?"
That's right I'm still wearing my armor but right now it was all torn apart. How did I even survive?
"Yah, I am a soldier" It's better to lie right now and just agree to all that he say. Atleast, I will create a false identity and would not need to create another one. It will be so hard to introduce myself as a hero.
"But based on your armor's crest, you're not from this country, Am I right?" Arnold once again threw another question. He seemed suspicious of me. Well, That's only normal seeing a unknown guy wearing an unknown armor. By all the information I heard, I also confirmed that this is not part of the Emperia Empire. If that was the case, Then where am I right now?
" Yes, I'm not from here. I was a soldier from another country. I don't know how did I end up here but the last thing I remembered was, we were ambushed by demons and after that I don't really know what happened" I carefully connected all the possible alibi. I saw the changes in Arnold's face when I brought out the word demon.
"Curse those damn demons! Once again they are spreading havoc! How many life are they going to kill. Don't worry kid, You are safe here. We, humans, should help each other fighting those demons" Alfred cursed as he clenched his fist. I could see a deep hatred in his eyes. Maybe someone close to him fell prey to the demon's claw.
"I-Is there something wrong?" I asked, seeing the mood went down.
"Don't worry. I just remembered something unpleasant."
"Sorry, I let you remember something bad" I bowed my head once again, asking for forgiveness.
"No, No, It's not your fault lad!" Arnold quickly retorted.
"by the way, Where is this place?" I asked. I'm really curious to know where on earth is this place
"You are in the border town of Reikoku Kingdom" Arnold answered.
I've never heard of this place before, I've known all the surrounding country of the empire but this is not one of them.
'If that was the case, there is only two possibilities, Either this place is in another continent or in the northern part of the demon realm.'
