"But how did she know it was me in her dream? Or are we in a human form or something?"
She smiles wryly "There are still things you didn't know. The thing is when you meet someone in a dream as long as he is greater than you the moment you meet him in the real world you will feel the familiarity.
I met Dr. Fatty ten years ago in my dreams, but you know what, it was just 3 months ago that I met her in person and I immediately recognized her.
To her she said I look familiar but to me, I shudder because I can still fill her presence similar to her Phantom being in the Dream Plane."
"Ahem, the Dream Plane is the place we go to when we are having a nightmare, right?
So, my question is why do we have to go there?
And is every superhuman out there going to the Plane or is it a selective one?
And how dangerous is the Plane, can one die there and die here as well.
You see it's crazy, this nightmare is so normal to me that I sometimes forget about them when I was at home, but here it seems everything revolves around the damn dream.
I call my dream a nightmare but many people in the cafeteria called it a dream as if it was just a normal dream
Like the one, my brothers said they are having.
For the record, I have never had a normal dream in my life. Yes, there are certain instances that I do not have dangerous dreams, even those are rare but it all feels like I have been to the same place all the time."
She looked at me with an amused look. I know she is thinking that this boy is barraging me with questions after I opened up with him.
Yeah, I have to take advantage and learn more things, that will surely help me more than just being silent.
She took a big breath and said in a seductive smile, "Well, not everything is certain but from the information, we gathered from different reliable sources is that the dream is pseudo-real."
I grimaced, they never said things in certainty. Pseudo doesn't make it absolutely real.
My change of expression did not change her smile but she just waited for me to come back.
"Do you know Doctors and scientists alike have worked on false theories in different fields and achieved success but later they realized that the theory is wrong? In history.
So what do you call their successes in medicine or any technical development that was based on that theory?"
"Okay, I get it. In the field of knowledge everything can be wrong but what was observed can be used to achieve certain things that are correct but if more knowledge is added the things that are obtained can be improved better than before because there is higher knowledge for it."
Yeah, I too spouted some jargon that I might not understand fully.
"Haha, whatever. How do I answer your question? Hmm, okay let's start with the main problem.
1 Every person that has special ability including Null, dream of a Dream Plane
2 Dream plane is another Plane of existence that Phantom Soul and consciousness of ability users go to whenever he is having a dream.
3 Dying in the Dream Plane doesn't kill the person in the real world but there is an adverse effect that may result in real death. So far this is what was known. As I said, things are still being studied.
4 Each person's dream is different. It's like someone lives in India and another one lives in England. Are they living in the same way? In a sense, yes, but are all the details the same? No.
5 The ability of a person is directly proportional to his dream. If you have fire ability you may be burning in a place, if you are strong you may be fighting something.
Like Serene, she said all she knows is that if she is having a dream she is always fighting something. At first, it was them that torture her later on she fights back and then it turns into a duel of strength.
Take note, there will always be a difference between two people that have the same ability.
Like one of our personnel has the same ability as Serene. in his dream he was carrying boulders and each boulder was heavier than the other.
And dreams may change from time to time but the intricate ones are always the same.
Am I making sense?"
Damn, she is making so much sense. I may not remember my dreams but I always carry the emotions I felt from them.
And the emotions are fleeing from something dangerous, something that is greater than me.
And this feeling of escaping conforms to my movement ability.
Whenever I'm travelling from one place to another nothing touches me and within the cocoon of the fluid, I feel an incredible sense of safety as if nothing can harm me.
The only downside is the more I move the more the liquid expended till I reached a point that it finished.
Does my dream show me ways to use my ability in many ways when travelling?
As for the intense emotion of fear and helplessness that I carry when I wake, I always feel like if I go through them and study them with my instincts I may be able to recreate what really happens in the dream.
But my instincts always scream danger whenever I think of it, as if it's saying, ``Not yet, you need to recover first!"
"Ahem!" She loudly coughed and it brought me out of my thoughts. She observed my change of expression trying to glean information out of it.
Perhaps she thought I would make a long series of talking telling her that I remember some of my dream details but she was disappointed when I just said something casual.
"I think you are making sense."
I have been cultivating the Dao of Uploading Two Chapters a day and with all likelihood I will have a comprehension of it laws.
Muhahahaha.
