The cold breeze and the eerily silence of the night bring Gulf to his emotional state. Days have passed after his last mission of killing Elric Escobar. His father didn't contact him anymore, he thought that this is what his father called safety and protection for him.

Mew never contacted him since he left, He was tempted to ask Zee every time but he stop himself from doing so. The fact that Mew is on his mission also is never enough reason to comfort his hurting feelings.

The forest ahead of him is tempting, he wanted a run to release some unwanted feelings that started to build up inside of him, and without a second thought, he found himself moving like a wind inside the forest in his wolf form.

Mew arrived at their house with Bright and Luke, he glance at Gulf's house he didn't feel his mate's presence there. It's shining but it looks like it's empty also. He wonders if Gulf is asleep already.

"He went for a run! " Zee said when he saw Mew looking at Gulf's house.

Mew heaved a sigh and face his friends.

"Any report when I'm gone? " Mew asked Zee removing his coat and settled on one of the single sofas.

"I'm sorry Mew but Draco meet Gulf at University, I tried my best to get him out when I saw Draco on the monitor but it was too late! " Zee said lowering his head.

Mew immediately stands up and looks outside, and without wasting time he runs towards the thick forest to look for his mate.

On the other hand, Gulf is looking at his reflection on the water from the river. His eyes are focus on the flowing water when all of a sudden he heard a snap in front of him. A flying arrow towards him but he dodges it.

He was surrounded by groups of vampire rebels, who look at him with so much resentment.

"How lucky we are tonight to find such rare beauty at this hour! " one of the vampires said.

"We should satisfy ourselves with his blood but we should enjoy his body first! " the other one blurted out laughing.

Gulf who just listens to their words stays calm and didn't flinch when one of the vampires shows his power.

A line of black thin smoke coming towards Gulf to tie him. But before it could reach him it stop midways, Gulf's eyes in emerald green. Before the vampire could react Gulf is in front of him already and turn him into a frozen vampire.

The shock on their faces is an understatement but because of pride and ego, their will to kill the silver wolf grew more.

The man with long hair attacks Gulf using his speed and his ability to grow his long hair to use a weapon. Gulf on Blizzard form caught on both legs and was thrown around still the hair on his legs. Another vampire attacks him and punches him using his ability as a strong vampire.

Gulf was about to throw again but to their surprise, the frost travel on the enemy's hair from Gulf's leg towards the vampire who look at him with wide eyes.

Another punch is about to land at Gulf but he shifted on his vampire form and caught the vampire's hands and without a second thought he cut it using his sharp claw.

Gulf's heard many footsteps, so he decided to run away for he don't want anyone to find out his wolf form. He looks around, he was far from where his house is, Ja and Haii are not with him for the only sneak out without them knowing.

Mew is nervously sniffing around, he can't locate Gulf, his mate grew a habit of hiding his smell every time he is upset, angry or he wanted to be alone.

If Draco meets Gulf it means danger is coming anytime soon. He knew Draco, one look on Gulf he will take Gulf in all phases. Gulf possesses a different aura from anyone, and Draco found his new target.

"You're Highness, we didn't know that he goes for a run! " Ja and Haii who was summoned by Mew inside the forest felt scared by the wolf king's dark glare.

"We must find him sooner, the night is getting deeper, some rebel vampire is loitering around the area. " Luke said.

They run taking a different direction to an easier search.

"Fuck! mark him tonight so that we can connect to their mindlink anytime we want! " Apollo rant.

"Yeah? Tell me how to talk to him about everything first, because I'm sure marking him tonight is out of the choices! " Mew rant back.

"If you don't react like a scared puppy last time this will never happen! " Apollo said snarling at him.

"Shut up! Apollo and heighten your senses more, I smell something! " Mew wanted to punch his wolf now.

They run fast as they can but the scent gets stronger.

"Watch out! " Apollo scream but too late. They collide with a running wolf that coming in their direction.

Both wolves are quick to gain their posture but to Mew's surprised it's Blizzard, Gulf's wolf. Mew run towards him and shifted to his human form then hug his mate, Blizzard whimper by the warm hug of his mate.

"Let's go home! " Mew said shifting on his wolf again.

Mind linking everyone that he found Gulf, they run together to go home.

They didn't notice the black shadow covered with smoke looking at them.

"So the wolf king has found his silver wolf! " and just like that, it disappeared into the dark forest.

He immediately withdraws his hand and sits straight, leaning his back on the headboard.

"Damn you, Mew, talk to him! " Apollo snarl again.

Mew looks at Gulf again when his mate sits up and leans his back on the headboard just like his position.

"How are you? "

"Why are you out there alone? "

The silence followed after they speak at the same time.

Mew bites his lips while Gulf pressed his lips tightly.

"What a drama! Pull him closer and hug him tightly, I miss my mate Mew" Apollo rant again.

Gulf since Apollo's frustration, Blizzard is silent but he knew he misses his mate... His wolf has suffered because of him.

"Don't say that Gulf, it's not your fault! " Blizzard comforts him.

Gulf was startled when Mew pull him using his strong force. The strong arms of his mate envelope his whole body, it makes him stiff.

"I miss you Gulf, I miss you so much! " Mew said inhaling the scent of his mate.

Gulf didn't stop himself and hug his mate tightly. Closing his eyes, he wishes that it's not a dream.

They became silent, the sound of their heartbeats travels through their ears, the warmth of their bodies brings comfort and heal all misunderstanding.

They both fall asleep, hugging tight breathing in syncs. As the first ray of sunshine breaks the dawn, a new change is about to happen. And breaking news will lead them to the truth.
