Harrison Confession (29)

"Sorry about that." Marcus said packing his computer up.

"We can do better. Marcus I meant it when I said I was glad you are with us now. You are the best and My brother does not sing very many people's praises." She said.

"How is Tubby doing now?" he asked.

"Well he just got two new clients to get them in shape for a new action movie." She said.

"We need to get together next time he visits you." Marcus said.

"I'll tell him. He will be back for Thanksgiving in two months. Go take care of your girl now."

Marcus left and stopped to get Ariel's favorite fish dinner. When he got back she was sitting at a table playing solitaire.

"You look better." He said.

"Feeling better. Later can we go for a walk outside.?" She asked.

"Sure. Hungry?" he asked.

"Smells good is it Mama's fish dinner?"

"Just for you. Mama says hi." He got out the two meals and they ate.

Just as they finished a guard steps in. "Sir Mr. McKenna and Lily are here."

"Send them in." Marcus said.

Lily came running in and straight to Ariel's arms. "I was so scared when that man said you were dead. I am glad your not."

"What happened to your face?" Ariel asked.

"He hit me when I tried to stop him from throwing you in the water. It only hurts a little." Lily said.

Marcus could see the pain in Ariel's eyes as she gently touched Lily's face.

"Harrison can we go out so we can talk?" Marcus said.

"Sure, Lily take care of Ariel while we are gone." Harrison then walked out followed by Marcus.

They walked down to the family room they used last night.

"I don't know why you gave me that false story last night. Dad still has his testicles. Noah Sanchez took Dad to get a vasectomy after I was born. So why did you lie to me?" Marcus asked.

"That is what Dad said when I asked him. Why would he lie about something like that?"

Marcus pulled up his phone and showed him the email. Then pulled up his father's medical records.

"Let me find out why. I am sorry." Harrison said.

"Just stop. He wants me out of the family then fine. I'll change my name if that will finally make him happy. When that happens... We will no longer be family and Lily will no longer be my niece. I can't do it anymore."

Harrison could see how hurt his brother was. He really did not want to lose him.

"Let me find out first why Dad lied, please." He begged.

"Will it make anything better?" Marcus got up and walked out of the room.

Harrison got up and went back to see Ariel.

"Where is Marcus?" she asked.

"He will be back soon. How are you feeling?" He asked.

"Better, I will be here a few more days. I won't be able to go back to the park to play with the fish so I will need to head back home. I was telling Lily about my visit here before we were kidnapped."

"I see. Can we talk later about your home?" He asked.

"Sure what do you want to know?"

"Lily I need to talk to Ariel can you go stay with the army guy for a minute." Harrison asked.

Lily sighed and went out.

"Do you love Marcus?" He asked.

"I don't know really. I thought I did till I found out you two killed Virginia; now my heart and mind are fighting."

"Can you love me then?"

"Your in the same boat. I can't get past what you did in my name. I just need time to think."

"I ask again do you ever think there could be a shot for you and me?" He was pleading with her.

"Maybe, I don't know. I was attracted you. Then you said I was Kimberly. Let me ask was Kimberly your true love?" Ariel said.

"She was, but I know she is gone. I just want another chance at loving someone. Is that so bad?" He said taking my hand.

"You and Lily deserve someone to love and love you in return. Right now that can not be me. I can not forget everything right now."

"I understand, I will wait for you as long as you need but I don't want you to rule me out ok."

"Ok" She still had feelings for him too but could she ever forgive what had happened? Then also what about Marcus?

Lily came back in with Marcus and a wheel chair.

"Still want to go for a walk?" He smiled.

"Yes please." She said.

"Can I push you?" Lily asked.

"Sure" Marcus said helping Ariel into the chair. He walked beside her as she was taken outside. They stopped by a pond next to a bench so Lily could set next to Ariel.

"Did you see that?" Ariel asked after a big fish jummped in the water and made a big splash.

"It was big. Did is say anything?" Lily said.

"I don't speak fresh water fish, sorry."

"They speak differently?" Lily asked.

"Well you know how in differnt countrys they speak different languages well the same goes for fish. Pond fish, river fish, lake fish and ocean fish all have different languages." Ariel said.

"That is cool."

"Lily we need to leave now, you can see Ariel tomorrow before we fly home." Harrison said.

"Ok, bye Ariel." The little girl kissed her cheek and her dad picked her up and carried her off.

"Do you want to go back yet?" Marcus asked.

"Can we sit for a little while longer?"

"If you wish." He sat down next to her.

"Marcus, why did you have Virginia killed?"

"She was not giving up. At first we were just going to scare her but then she made it clear that I really wanted you dead and she was going to help me out. She would not stop till you were the one gone. I know you are having a hard time with this and I am truly sorry. If it could of been any other way believe me it would of been." He took her hand. "I love you and will always protect you."

She looked at his hand wrapped around hers. "Tell me, was Kimberly your true love?"

"No, I thought she was but I believe it was the love you feel for a sister not a lover. I think I wanted her because Harry wanted her."

"What about me?"

"Yes, I believe you might be my true love."

"What if I'm not?" She looked him now in the eyes.

"I don't know." He said. He was not sure what all these question was really for.

"I'm tired now can we go back?" she said.

He pushed her back to the room and helped her into bed.

"Do you need anything?" He asked.

She just shook her head no and closed her eyes.

Marcus then left to make a call.
